UPDATE Beck surgery

Georgia quarterback Carson Beck underwent successful surgery Monday on his right elbow to repair his ulnar collateral ligament (UCL), performed by renowned orthopedic surgeon Dr. Neal ElAttrache in Los Angeles, Ca. A full recovery is expected with throwing to begin spring of 2025.

Story:

I've been a DawgVenter for over 20 years and sometimes the vernacular comes out in the real world

I've replied Germans far too many times to something I already knew.

But this morning I'm talking to my wife and she asks about why Carson Beck is probably going to Miami (before it was official) and I replied "It's undefeated" which she retorts "What's undefeated?"

And to that, I do a google search for Hanna Cavinder and show her a pic (and since I know the damn rules here's the pic I showed her)

Which my wife replies "Oh yeah, I understand now. That's how I got you." haha

UGA target now at Benedictine

He's a fantastic player. Transfers from Savannah Christian to Benedictine. Usually it's SCPS getting public school players to come to them - not losing a player. Rumors are some BC boosters gave quite the bag of money.

Is Kirby's dad's funeral going to be able to happen today?..

The service is/was planned for today in Rabun County, and things are pretty well frozen up here.

Man...I really feel for Kirby. My dad passed away four years ago, and my pop was my hero. I know Kirby's dad was the same to him, so I can empathize with his heartache. But, Kirby has had so many distractions that I don't think he's been fully able to mourn. I hope he gets that opportunity.

Normally I would have zero concerns about playing Notre Dame but

worried about this Sugar Bowl. We saw how Haynes King made us look so bad this year and I think Riley Leonard is just as good or better than Haynes King. Hopefully we have a better game plan on defense this time around. X and O experts does Notre Dame run any of the same type of stuff as Tech? I have not watched them enough to know. I do like the fact that we will be as healthy in D as w3 have been all year.

I’m actually not that worried about how Gunner is going to do. I mean we can’t score any less points than we did in the 1st half under Beck. It can only get better right?
