Has to join a conference or no playoffs.. reading this morning how much money they get, and unlike the rest who split the proceeds, the playing field is far from equal... and with all the NIL money they are getting, they can buy titles for years.

I hate NIL and where college football is going...

Odd trend for Kirby's program with the Defensive coaching we have had over the years.

Kirby Smart -
"Yeah, he's going to join us in the next couple of days down here. Big thing for him has been a part of his rehab process and what all he's had to do. He's had a really tough injury. He needed to get some rehab from people in Jacksonville. He's got a specialist that has worked with this injury. Brock Purdy had a very similar injury. Nick Mullens, I think [Matthew] Stafford. He had several people. So when you talk about his team of people, including the surgeons, he's had to do a lot of work with that. So he's been there for Gunner throughout. He's supported Gunner, had multiple conversations with him. Looking forward to having him with us for this game."

Going to play. Unless there's an injury, there is no scenario where either of them will see the field.
The staff that sees all the qbs everyday and has for months on end has deemed that Gunner is the best qb. No you cannot just "get a guy ready" in 3 weeks; this is not NCAA 2025. You also don't even want 3 qbs taking snaps in practice. Gunner needs ALL of them.
There's a pretty good to really good chance that he won't play well because he hasn't played at all and now we're playing really good teams. Even with that, crying for the backup qb is NOT the answer. We're going to have to live with Gunner for better or worse.

My kids were really spooked and wanted us home. And after what I saw from my hotel room, I just didn’t have it in me to stay and pretend to have fun.

Seems like a dumb question because I’m pretty sure he’s a junior but is he gonna be back next season?

Had it in my mind that he was gonna leave after this year for whatever reason. Would definitely prefer the best punter in the league to come back over Miller who seems to need a little more work
