NonDawg Dog food diets

We've had many posts of people losing dogs and seeking dogs recently and over the years (lost one in November, getting a puppy in February).

I figured it would be interesting to see what diets folks use for their dogs.

Interested in both good and bad experiences with kibble, raw, and home cooked meals.

My dog is on Hill's Science Adult Perfect Weight. She's been trying to drop pounds the last couple of years so we tried reducing portions of her previous food (Pro Plan Adult Large Breed) as well as the Hill's Senior Large Breed, but neither really dropped pounds with minimal portions for her desired weight.

However, the Perfect Weight did result in her losing 4 lbs at her most recent vet visit so I guess it works. I'm sure she gained it all back during the holidays after being spoiled by my wife and guests since she became the only dog.

Anyway, getting ready for a new pup and trying to map out a diet plan. Unlike the 3 males who had various skin allergies, my female hasn't shown any, just a more sensitive stomach than the males. So we're open to a variety of options.

I have a hunch it’s going to be Tennessee vs Georgia in the natty.

I think Texas is soft and they benefited from a lucky draw in the SEC….i guess it’s possible our defense just happened to play our best two games against them, but I think it’s more likely that Texas is talented but has an inflated national perception.

I could be wrong because it’s not my brain telling me this, it’s just a hunch.
I think Clemson might give Texas a game more than people think.

Please dear Lord

I know I’m asking a lot. They look unbeatable. I hate them. I hate their little bitch of a head coach. I hate their fans. I hate the fawning national media’s love of them. Please let anyone but Ohio State win the natty. Just the 15 minutes of ESPN radio on my way to pickup someone this morning had me sick to my stomach. “This Ohio State team is the best team in college football history blah blah blah”. Then I see videos of to their coaches mugging for the cameras and talking shit while his players are flashing gang signs or something in the background after the game. I seriously hate them as much as I do Bama.

A yearly basketball history lesson

Today is the 107-year anniversary of Georgia setting an NCAA record for margin of victory with a 122-2 win in a game against Southeastern Christian College.

As I do every year, here’s the link to the story me and a couple good friends did on that game for The Red & Black, which led to the NCAA updating its record book to include this game:

Beck VS ETN

If a week ago you had to put a poster on 75 with the heading "A Damn Good Dawg" underneath an action shot of Beck or ETN, Which one would you pick?
I'm going to go out on a limb and say that the one year transfer from Florida is going to get more well-deserved love than the guy that's been here four years.
We will be better at QB1 next year because the passion of Gunner will make the players around him better. I will never get that image of Beck smiling on the bench at Ole Miss out of my mind.
Don't hate the guy, just don't think about him the same way I do say Chubb or Shockley. Glad we are moving on.
