Why the need to politicize this woman’s death?

Because if the border were protected and Ibarra had not crossed, or if he had been deported when arrested in NY, Laken Riley would be alive today. Is that not enough for you? Do you have a daughter? The man that murdered this young lady came into the country illegally and was allowed to do so by the current administration and then allowed to stay here even after being apprehended. If that doesn't make your blood boil you have no empathy.

I appreciate your opinion. But your thoughts on this are like saying the death of a man at the hands of the KKK should not be an indictment on the philosophy of the KKK. We should just mourn the poor family that lost their son/husband/etc. and not focus on the group that caused his death.
This could have been avoided. It was preventable. It's a straightforward cause/effect.
If this is not worthy of being politicized I don't know what is.
Being quiet about a situation like this is never the answer to solving the problem. In fact, it's how the problem becomes repetitive (which we have seen).

Why are you politicizing school shootings? Shouldn't we let their parents grieve in peace? No action is necessary. (completely in my best sarcasm font).
It's a whole seperate set of challenges. The only common denomenator is murder. But one is completely preventable by enforcing laws currently on the books. The other has multiple factors at work including psychological implications, family upbringing, etc.
We can discuss school shootings. But lets not confuse two events that have very few commonalities.

Hopefully it is not too late to save our country by deporting all the illegal aliens that came across our border. It is costing us a fortune as well.

Sounds like the internal issues are being addressed. That's comforting. I have never understood the firewall that is created between law enforcement agencies. Similar issues led to events like the OKC bombing and 9/11. All avoidable if you ask me.

Don't need to read any news site. Facts are facts:

1) Joe Biden celebrated the reversal of dozens of border enforcement related executive policies as soon as he came into office - bringing policy much more in line with undisputed democrat policy regarding "undocumented newcomers". Making good on campaign promises you can find on video, particularly in his primary race against fellow "like-minded" democrats on border policy. This is a fact - totally not in dispute.

2) Since that time, illegal border crossings have tripled. Fact. Not in dispute. Which is why they can't hide from the issue, and all the sudden they have to find a scapegoat.

Trying to square these two facts with the idea that somehow it was more likely for any illegal, criminal or otherwise, to be released into the Country when Trump was President is completely illogical.

You can argue things like border bills, whether or not Trump is an asshole dangerous to the Country, whether or not all of these liberal DA's are good or bad for the Country, whatever. Subjective stuff. You cannot argue this my friend. Border was clearly more secure under Trump, and the facts make that clear. You can generally find all of these same facts on CNN and MSNBC. Not in dispute. I guess you can just say it is a coincidence that border crossings have tripled. I doubt anyone with a brain would buy into that argument, but you could say it.
