i think the polls overall are a fairly good read or projection of what could occur. What the polling data has told me since January is this will be a close race that could go either way. Georgia is most likely no longer a battle ground state and the Blue team will go all in for Michigan, Wisconsin and Pennsylvania.
I suspect both candidates will misstep several times before now and November. A major misstep by one or the other will most likely occur - a physical fall, a blank stare into space at an inappropriate time, a comment that is completely egregious, a revelation that is completely egregious. Again several of these things will most likely occur and where and when will change the election result. it will be a wild and messy ride for sure.

Seems like a very moderate position that should be applauded. France just enshrined abortion into their constitution as a right...for 14 weeks. Sure it will piss off some of his base but that's what leadership looks like. Additionally, even though his base is pissed, they won't stay home and let the unregulated abortion crowd carry the day.

No, leadership is offering an alternative that works for around 75% of the country instead of wearing a position like a yoke around his neck that is only supported by a very vocal minority. Trump is trying to lead his constituency to a position that takes a wedge issue away from the tyrants.
This is where I don’t get it. Who are they going to vote for? Biden? I guess they could stay home, but I doubt it with all of the other issues on the table. Allowing men to play women sports etc. I actually think that is a position that will benefit him with the middle. The progressives will only vote for Joe. He could kill someone in the street and still get their votes. Same with the evangelical far right following and Trump. This election will be determined by black males and soccer mom’s imo. How many are sick of their lifestyle change, and how many are realizing their voting history means nothing to the left. I would bet the 15 week number would win back some Christian soccer moms.

Yes it will be ok with his evangelical followers. And here's why: there is no way the abortion question can be answered in a black and white fashion. There must be some concessions on each side because there is no way possible to pass a complete ban or open it for full term. To be clear, I am pro-life. But, I personally think it should be closer to 10-12 weeks as a compromise. But anything that will limit late term decisions would be considered.
However, the other side wants nothing to do with any compromises. It's all or nothing. With that said, why not leave it in the hands of the states and keep the federal government out of it?

Because macro-economic factors haven’t changed in any way? In 2016, he inherited a healthy economy and kept it going, in part by a massive tax cut during an expansion, which traded short term benefit for longer term issues.
Let’s remember the state of the economy he handed over to Biden. I know Trump supporters prefer to ignore his last year in office and pretend it never happened, for lots of reasons, but it does factor into the evaluation.
I think it’s reasonable to expect both candidates to offer something more than platitudes if they want us to consider the potential economic impacts.
Biden has done all of the missteps already, the media cucks will cover for the vegetable.
The GOP abortion plan isn't a compromise at all because it would keep in place more restrictive bans like GA's 6 week ban while limiting abortions to 15 or 16 weeks. Also after Roe and the insistence from the GOP that Roe was safe, this plan is a none starter. Only way it has any chance is if it's a 15 or 16 week ban and negates thr more restrictive state bans.

He handed Biden the coronavirus that he inherited from China with the Dems blessings. Yeah he handed them an economy that was going down due to the virus.

What is true is the economy showed recovery in October after Covid started hitting full scale in March with shut downs. Then we had an election. 36 percent economy approval is what happened next. The economy under Biden has already been shown to be jack shit according to real numbers. It made the rich much richer however. You can hang your hat there sho. We lost some of the middle class. I am sure by design. Won’t be much left of the middle class if this shithead gets reelected.
