It’s being reported 2 Canada food companies are moving manufacturing to the US

I’m thinking Mid Day was already planning coming into the states.
I know you guys finally got something to latch onto. I am somewhat happy for you. I was worried. You know this isn’t just about a trade agreement. They are likely not to last very long. A lot of this is about the border and drugs coming into the country. Which we should all agree is dangerous. Since the last four years were a free pass for this kind of crazy shit, why should you or anyone on the left care.
Mexican leaders are far too weak to take on the cartels, but that is the only thing that will slow them down. I doubt seriously if you see Sheinbaum doing anything with her current cartel support.

Now do one for the inflation reduction act. At least tariffs can be ended at anytime. We will be paying for years for that act.
Almost all the frozen prepared foods I've bought from Trader Joe's are made in Canada.
As I pointed out yesterday or Saturday, we don’t care if they don’t buy our California tomatoes, tariffs are on their steel, logging and concrete businesses, to name few. Who gets Canadian maple syrup anyway? The best stuff is made in northern New England, VT, NH, ME
More Vance bullshit. Canada's portion of fentanyl crossing the US border is 0.001% of the fentanyl coming to the US thru Mexico and Canada. So it is a real issue with Mexico but lumping Canada with Mexico is ludicrous and Trump/Vance bullshit.
I have no idea on percentages, but basically all the fentanyl we confiscate during narcotic busts originate in China and while the majority does come through Mexico our drug task force agents say info from DEA indicate quite a bit coming in from the North.
