I know of two -- a woman and her 8-year-old daughter, who were murdered in their sleep two weeks ago by her cowardly husband, who then blew his own head off. They lived in a luxury apartment building in the next town over. I have friends in the building.

I guess this doesn't technically qualify, but my best friend's father shot himself to death literally moments before his wife was going take him to a hospital for deep depression. And a childhood friend of mine kept a pistol in his glove compartment; his 5 year old took it out one day when left in the car with his siblings, discharged it, and killed his 3-year-old brother.

Other than that, no, I know of no one else.

...and I know of an entire family killed when the dad decided to drive into a concrete barrier at 100 MPH. It was a legally obtained car driven by a man of free will. The cases above are about free will and neglegence - not legally obtained guns.
