I totally agree that we need to lock down our borders for several reasons. I don't have any illegals in my house that I know of, I'll check under the beds when I get back from vacation. But, they do make my food in restaurants, pick my produce, raise and slaughter the meat I eat ... etc, etc, etc. That lured a lot of folks here simply looking for opportunity. I don't hate them for that, nor am I comfortable being a hypocrite about it. Find a solution, don't grind them into emotional political fodder.

You've never processed illegals or you would know better. Out of the thousands of illegal immigrants I have processed back to Mexico and Central America, approximately 75% had tattoos that were in the webbing of their hand to show murders/rapes/theft. But, regardless there should be no extra crimes committed by illegals because they should never be allowed to cross our borders.

There are a few states that offer state only funds, but in these cases, the only illegal immigrants eligible are pregnant women and children. Otherwise, must be legal immigrants for any state welfare funds and not eligible at all for Federal funds per the welfare reform act of 1996.
