would make a great leader. How many times have his companies filed for bankruptcy? I do agree on his stand on immigration. He has no chance to win as most would admit. POS
Great businessman (very debatable), but a terrible presidential candidate for the GOP. He will not be able to "businessman bully" in the political world and we would probably see much of what we currently see in Washington, division and no progress. Sure I understand the intrigue because he shoots from the hip and doesn't care who he offends. I think we all would like to see a little more Trump in all of the candidates. But, look at his overall record. The media (especially Fox News) is totally ignoring his past positions on single payer healthcare, higher taxes, contributions to Hillary and also the Clinton Foundation and only focusing on his hard line position with the Mexico border. He is making the Presidential process a carnival side show. The GOP is spending all their time defending him and not debating the Socialist party. He will soon flame out as a GOP candidate but it would not surprise me to learn that he is in with the Clinton's and will run as a 3rd party candidate. Bill was elected in 1992 with only 42% of the vote because of the 3rd party vote. Personally I couldn't stand him even before he decided to run so I just turn the channel when I see his lips and hair.
Disagree and agree. Maybe Trump has evolved as he's witnessed what socialist/collectivist policies have done to America, Europe (especially Greece) and Puerto Rico.
Trump, I don't believe, is in with the Clintons; he's not stupid. Hillary, imo, doesn't stand a chance. Trump is a businessman, the reason he donated to both Dems and Pubs.
True, but he can surely put her in the white house if he runs as a 3rd party candidate. Do you think his businessman approach can be effective as the POTUS? I'm afraid he will alienate both parties and we'd have 4-8 years of nothing being accomplished. Wait, that sounds familiar!!
He certainly could; let's hope he's not that stupid.
The businessman approach surely couldn't do any worse than what we've got now. It's my opinion Donald would negotiate from a strong position, and never start a negotiation if he were in a weak position.
The founders intended to make it difficult to accomplish anything.
Today's Republicans continue to capitulate to Obama with TPP (Rubio being the last to vote for it) and surrendering the treaty process (Corker Bill). As it's turning out Obama is completely bypassing the Senate now. Christie is even running as a compromising candidate. That's horeshat!
If Obama can be President, anyone can be President. Including Trump. Although, I rather see Cruz or Walker at this point.
