This is bad news guys.

The president cannot/should not be using criminal prosecution, or the lack of criminal prosecution, as a carrot and stick for favors.

The prosecutor can agree, she can refuse to enforce it and be terminated, or she can resign.

This order was given before there is even a meeting between the prosecution and defense to assess the merits of the case so there are not many legitimate explanations for this, and it’s highly unusual.

This is not what we do here in America and this is completely on American. When people complain about attacks on Democratic norms, this is what they are referring to.

Also, it could be revived in the future or dropped permanently.

Spoken like someone watching a left leaning media organization. Tiv there are two sides to this story. Just like always, you believe this to be true without checking the whole story. I don’t know if Adams did these things or not. He hasn’t been found guilty. These charges magically appeared after he publicly attacked the Biden administration for being complete morons about illegal immigration. This was a huge deal at the time. He felt like he was gone after for political reasons. Had he said nothing, no charges would have come. Let me guess. You don’t believe that part of the story could possibly be true.

Trump said he believed the mayor was treated unfairly in December. Said he may pardon him. But he would have to look at the facts of the case before he did anything. Just depends on which side you are itching to believe here right? Because it is easier to believe the story that Trump would do this without cause or merit just to subvert justice. Adams may be guilty as hell, but I will assume he looked at the case. And not think he would just throw out something like that. Quite honestly, these accusations in the media have turned out more often than not to be total bullshit.

This is the kind of stuff that drives me crazy. At least attempt to see if there are two sides to the story. Sorry tiv. You aren’t the only one who does this.

What blows my mind are the Dems opposing this spending being exposed by DOGE.
It’s a losing battle with the American people. It’s what we asked for and are getting. They claim to oppose Musk and his involvement but who else except an outsider that has no political career could pull this off.
