Folks forgot what that was like, and I think there are many who aren’t even huge fans of him or his actual policy, but see how effective he can be.

Love him or hate him you have to admit that he can lead and get results. Hostages. Middle East. And you just know that Russia / Ukraine is right around the corner. Dude gets shit done.

Watching this issue evolve the past week is pretty interesting.

We’ve all been conditioned to believe there will always be this terrible Israel v Palestine conflict and there’s nothing anyone can do about it.

So when Trump says “we will just take over Gaza and build them an infinitely better place to live”…..everyone, including many republicans, do a quadruple take “huh?” I admit I laughed out loud and dismissed it as a Trump troll.

Then you start thinking about it and the history here. And the fact that the “civilized” world has always stood on principle that the Palestinians should continue to be there. The “two state solution”. And the fact that hundreds of thousands of innocent lives have been lost in this impossible quest for a “two state solution”.

Maybe there is another way? An impossibly simple but not difficult to do other way? Use some leverage to make other Middle East countries partners and literally improve the lives of these people infinitely and secure a lasting peace? Maybe try something new?
