Is it silly though? Trump running on 16 was initially silly to most. The idea of a 78 y/o trump running in 2024 was silly 4 years ago (as was a 80+ y/o Biden), yet here we are. You think this guy would give up unchecked executive power if the people were allowed to vote to give it to him again? That's not how he operates.Already have my Trump 28 bumper sticker.
This isn't serious at all. Nobody is going to want Trump in 28 and he'll likely be done by then anyway. It's a great way to keep the gals on the view worked up but the idea of 82 yr old Trump running again is silly on multiple levels.
All that being said, this has no chance in getting out of the house with 2/3 majority so your point about the hens cluckingon the view is accurate (seriously, who watches that nonsense?). This rep is just showing that he's 100% behind trump and Johnson is just letting him do it because he can....
But let's not act like trump wouldn't bite if this was available to him.
