drive a stun-gun into the necks of cops.

At a press conference today, a question was asked-

“You would agree that it’s never acceptable to assault a police officer?”

“Sure,” Trump replied.

“So, then if I can, among those you pardoned, D.J. Rodriguez, he drove a stun gun into the neck of a D.C. police officer who was abducted by the mob that day,” the reporter noted. “He later confessed on video to the FBI and pleaded guilty for his crimes. Why does he deserve a pardon?”

“Well, I don’t know,” Trump replied. “Was it a pardon? Because we’re looking at commutes and we’re looking at pardons.”

It was clarified that Trump hadn’t commuted Rodriguez’s sentence, but pardoned him outright. Trump responded by saying, “We’ll take a look at everything.”
You have four years of misery coming if all you libs are going to do is focus on Jan. 6. Y'all continue wallowing in your misery while Trump continues to WIN!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thank God. Trump restores our freedoms to

I think this thread proves the point that if Trump were to try and pardon each person 1 by 1 how tedious that would be. Politicians would argue over each every person to distract and delay justice.
We know(some of us won’t admit) the vast majority of these people were bullied, over-charged and over sentenced for acts they may or may not have committed. The defense each of these people would have needed to fight these charges would have started at a cool million. Almost none of these people could have afforded that.
Prosecutors arrested people who may have trespassed and then added felonies to force them to plead to the lessor charges. This way they get a quick conviction. Attorneys the tell their clients they will get probation or a month in jail. Most people would and did agreed to take the lessor charge. Then they got serious prison time from some of these judges.
It was all horrendous and it makes no sense to waist the next 4 years trying to tease out which ones who got a fair trial and a fair charging and a fair sentence because there are very few.

“it’s better that 10 guilty men go free than 1 innocent man go to jail”
So many accusations, so little proof or actual examples of unfair sentences. And by little I mean none.

The only person in this entire embarrassment worthy of admiration is the 71 year old woman who is refusing to accept the pardon. She served sixty days and admits she broke the law and deserved the punishment.

Taking a pardon now in light of her actions, Hemphill said, "would be a slap in the face to the Capitol police officers, to the rule of law and to our whole nation."

"I would be contributing to their false propaganda that they continue to gaslight the nation and everyone, that it was a peaceful protest."

When Trump commented that her sentencing was "HORRIBLE!," Hemphill responded "Please @realDonaldTrump don't be using me for anything, I'm not a victim of Jan6, I pleaded guilty because I was guilty! #StopTheSpin."

Takes a batshit crazy person to say the actual truth. It is the way everyone feels other than a few hardcore democrats that have nothing left to hold on to. They should try doing a story on this. Or acknowledged this. Instead of the all is well tagline. This matters to people today. That was four years ago.

Inflation is a President killer. It’s a lesson I hope Trump remembers over the next 48 months.

1) it’s a low bar I know, but that is the most logical, cogent argument she has ever made.
2) this video did not excuse her crazy azz lies and nutso Twitter posts. The woman is a disgrace.
3) again with the “well Democrats did bad stuff so we’re allowed to do bad stuff too!” Argument. It’s like American adults are now all 9- year olds. If you were punishing your son for breaking one of the rules you have in your house, and his excuse was that your other son also broke similar rules, would you response to that be “well then I guess no one is in trouble at all“? Of course not. Both are wrong.

She is very emblematic of many conversations on this actual message board as well. People have stopped expecting their elected officials to behave an ethical way, because the elected officials know they do not have to. No one is going to call them out, it’s simply going to be “well, the other side did similar stuff“. This is a bad place for politics.

Illegal alien stabs two people to death, including a 4-year old girl.

it is a very slippery slope and I honestly respect both sides of the argument.

I was raised a staunch Christian conservative.

Again, there are so many hard working good people from Central America that bust their buts doing a job most will not.
I'm all in for the moves being implemented by PDJT and his administration....especially as it relates to illegals with criminal backgrounds.

But, I agree that we have to find a solution to allow migrant workers to come here in an orderly fashion. Their labor is vital to the success of certain industries, and there has to be a way to get this done.

Perhaps we could implement a system similar to the Saudis. Saudi Arabia manages its immigrant population primarily through the "kafala" system, which requires all foreign workers to have a Saudi sponsor (usually their employer) to legally reside and work in the country, essentially tying their immigration status to their employment.

For those immigrants who are not in the 'skilled labor' class, we could construct a 'foreign legion' whereby immigrants can serve as militia to assist our military. There would be a set period of time where these folks would be trained, learn the English language, etc. and after a certain time and if they are proficient in the skills they were taught, they could be elevated to 'regular' military service....and ultimately gain citizenship.
