Shame on Josh for hiring this Bum, Dennis Gates begged for this job as Dan Hurley begged for this job and they went with Tom Crean! I have watched Ga Basketball since 1974 and we sucked instill Tubby and Jim Harrick! Mike White is a glorious AUU coach that has a dad the former Duke AD and Brother a the Tennessee AD sold Josh Brooks a bill of bad goods! The problem is the SEC has elite coaches and by February there is so much Tape on how badly coached we are they exposed our weaknesses! His teams collapse every February, mean while the university Florida sent Josh Brooks a week long trip to Caynnon Ranch for taking this bum! Why didn’t we hire Todd Golden! If I’m Josh Brooks I would make Tony Bennett, Jay Wright and Greg Marshel tell me no!

Those values need to collapse. It’s one of the highest in the country and that makes no sense since the wages are high but not astronomically high.

We need to disperse federal workers around the country. Trump should move those cabinets to Midwest cities that could use the help.

Damn, Zinger. It can’t be read four different ways. It’s a simple a statement as he could make. You can bend yourself into a knot trying to turn it into something it clearly isn’t, but it doesn’t change the statement.

Here two other quotes for you to consider.

Think we all know that Asa is a very good player but because he's not flashy I think we sometimes underrate just how good he's been. Below is the top 20 players in the SEC this season by Bartovik's points above replacement metric (focus is on offense production and efficiency). Yep, all the consensus best players in the SEC, and look who it is at number 2, ahead of everyone but Johni Broome. Shooting an absolutely absurd 63.5% on 2P field goals with over 200 attempts.

40% of the people in this country simply hate the government and the people in it without any thought whatsoever that there may be many who are dedicated to serving their country through a job they love. The way jobs are being cut now without any vetting or plan that makes sense is simply a reflection of their attitudes and the people they have empowered.

The government needs trimming based on merit, but that takes too much time and effort. The angry mob wants its gratification quickly. Sorry you were caught up in it.

I don’t know a great deal about cars and odds are you don’t either. In all seriousness though, I’m interested to get some thoughts on what might be wrong here, and I should find out something definitive tomorrow.

Yesterday we were driving on 10 Loop around Athens in my wife’s Kia Sportage. It’s well-maintained, but she’s had it about 10 years now and it has around 175k miles on it. I’m going probably 60 mph and move into the left lane to pass a truck in front of me.

I don’t stand up on the accelerator or anything… didn’t do anything abnormal, didn’t hear anything abnormal. All of a sudden, I had no engine power. The battery light came on and the oil pressure light came on. We still had radio and lights, but the accelerator was totally non-responsive. I think that the engine was still running. I still had power steering. Just no response from the accelerator, no increase in RPMs with the accelerator.

Fortunately we were going down hill. I got the 4-ways on and was able to coast to a stop on the side of an exit ramp. Probably coasted half a mile that way, which is why I can say I still had power steering.

After coming to a stop, I got out to see if the headlights were still on, were dim, etc. At that point the RPMs were down to 0. I tried to start it back, but no dice. It sounded like a very low battery, in that it just wouldn’t turn over. But again, still had radio and lights, etc.

Any ideas? I don’t think it’s the fuel pump as I didn’t hear any sounds before and it happened suddenly. Maybe that’s just wishful thinking. Had it towed to the mechanic I use up here in Jefferson, which is closed until Monday. So I guess I find out something in the morning
