So US may ship some of felon Non Citizens to El Salvador for prison.- WOW

Heard that on a podcast and talked about on Bill Oriley last night, apparently Trump and his team are looking at option of shipping some of the Violent non citizen detainees to El Salvador for long term prison stays. Not sure if that is legal but you talk about a deterrent from coming to the USA. i suspect the Venezuelan and Mexican gang members would be handled appropriately in the El Salvadorian jails. Suspect it would be cheaper than housing them in Guantanamo. At the very least like that idea being floated around.
Love this idea

Going to be very interesting next 4 years.
Elon and his bunch are likely honing AI to swim up stream in the Swamp. Likely a hell if a lot of Congressional folks on both sides of the aisle that are in “Shiver me Timbers”.

Doge was not on a list, wasn’t picked for any financial or statistical reason. They were just non responsive to Executive Orders, recalcitrants of the day so to speak.

What is encouraging is that this process is possibly going to be a template for governmental efficiency going forward.
The scale of the impropriety and likely criminal behavior is awful and this is just the tip of the iceberg.

I have heard no one say send U.S. citizens , which would be illegal, only the liberal press.
"You may not deport a U.S. citizen, period," ACLU attorney Lee Gelernt, deputy director of the group's Immigrants' Rights Project, told NPR. "The courts have not allowed that, and they would not allow it."

In extradition cases, the U.S. sends citizens to another country to face criminal charges. But, Gelernt said, "it would be blatantly unconstitutional to deport a U.S. citizen" to a foreign country under other circumstances.

As for the idea of the U.S. deporting non-citizens to a country they're not from, Gelernt said it's possible, but complicated, under arrangements such as a safe third country agreement.
