Am I the only one

Who thinks sending Americas special operators after the cartels is doomed to fail gloriously & be a monumental mistake for many reasons?

I think it'll be the biggest mistake of Trump's life if he goes through with it. I don't know the answer or if there's an answer to the drugs coming into this nation but this will not be the answer
We will win every single military engagement on paper.

And when it’s all said and done… we will have lost many American soldiers’ lives, spent millions, ruined our relationship with our bordering neighbor… and the drugs will still be there.

Trump said “no new wars”, if he starts this, that’s about as true as the wall he’s going to build. Lol

Fauci

This is not a smart idea.

Trump sets free 1,500 violent followers, then removes the security detail for his “enemies”. What could go wrong?

Bolton, Fauci, etc. are not Trump’s enemies, they just don’t do what he says and he doesn’t like that.

In a private business, you need people who support your vision. However, in the government of a free republic, you need people who have differing ideas and a loyalty to the country, not to a man.

Am I the only one

Instead of investing in foreign wars (Israel/Ukraine) we should be using the full weight of our government and military to destroy the cartels who have killed hundreds of thousands of Americans by pushing narcotics into our country. This also destroys the society in our country by getting many addicted to drugs destroying families and communities.
On top of that they funnel illegal immigrants into our country.

They share a border with us and are of a higher importance than Muslim extremist.
Not sure it’s a higher importance because we don’t know how many the cartels have helped get into the US.
Shut down the cartels and we would have less to worry about with the terrorists.

Fauci

I have seen reports that Fauci and other NIH wheels are able to collect royalties from drug companies.

https://www.nationalreview.com/corn...receive-royalty-payments-from-drug-companies/

Imo, this should be the focus of a congressional investigation. The tax payers fund research, the benefit of the research is given to select pharma companies, the pharma companies submit a potential new drug for approval to the NIH, the NIH employees know if the new drug is approved, they'll collect royalties, new drugs are approved and the director of the NIH censors debate on the efficacy of cheaper treatments and collects millions. What could go wrong?
Not calling you out, but that’s not how drug discovery/ approval works.

It's Pete! F you, libs! America wins!!**

And all of this happened under the leadership of the people Trump/Hegseth are trying to expose. Like Trump, Hegseth is not what I would build in a lab to be POTUS or SecDef but I trust them to conduct their business slanted more towards the will/good of the American republic over the interest of the MIC. Just like the NIH being steered by pharma, I don't think we need a defense dept steered by the MIC and I think we've been in that position for a while.
I agree with this by and large. I think Trump is in it for Trump, primarily. But he earned my vote by being less crazy than the Dem candidate.

And he is the ONLY presidential candidate with the balls to talk about getting rid of illegal aliens.

I hope Hegseth gets/ keeps his life together and I hope we don’t get involved in any large scale military action.
