I had a very snarky response typed up and then I deleted it and decided that’s not the best way to deal with situations like this.
I understand that it is hard to find fault in your heroes. I understand it is hard to imagine that Donald Trump and the January 6 rioters did things that were bad. But I really need you to think hard about this and try to use some common sense. Nobody was goading anyone into anything, there is no conspiracy theory here. Even if you go down a YouTube wormhole or read something that sounds logical on Twitter, there is no conspiracy theory.
And how do you “goad” someone into spraying mace into a police officer’s eyes? Like what would someone say to you to make you think “yeah, I’m going to blind this cop today ”.
