NIL Agents….

I spoke about previously how I played high school baseball with one of the reps at Young Money APAA sports and my thoughts on him. I was a bit abrasive when stating my opinion on who he’s become since high school. I wasn’t wrong. I apparently undersold it. This is borderline extortion. 20%???? You can tell he thinks what he is saying is a total load of shit with the lack of eye contact and fumbling around as he says it.

You’ve got used car salesman luring dudes into the portal just to scalp them for the services provided making the issue 10x worse. I don’t agree with kids jumping around program to program like it’s free agency and some may call it karma but either way it’s all just wrong.

Okay, I have a strategy question I’d love to ask Kirby.

I continue to be perplexed by the decision to go for 2 early vs Tech.

Down 17 to Tech, we scored with 9:53 in the 3rd and went for 2. Kirby referenced the chart. (I disagree with the chart, BTW).

Down 17 to ND, we scored with 9:36 in the 3rd and kicked the XP. Did we learn from our ways? What changed?

Conventional wisdom says we weren’t sure we could stop Tech, and thought we might get to 24 with 3 scores instead of 4. And we felt like we could stop ND. The whole thing still seems weird to me, and I just want to know. I like understanding ball, and I don’t get the change of decision unless we learned from a mistake, which is a good thing.

Defense and rebounding, especially offensive, That's the same header as after last game...and it's true.

Another terrible night from 3 pt distance, but our D and board work got us the W.

I've been saying it for weeks...get Absom ion the game. I don't know if he starts, although I believe he should. He is so much better than RJ. RJ is solid, but he plays defensively on offense. Plays with his head down. Absom is just relaxed and sees the whole court. He also can do things from ft line in, which RJ cannot. He needs many more minutes and is a key going forward for us.

Once again our depth at guard shows A couple guys have been slumping a bit and then bam they are back. Really nice games from Tyrin, who some folks were really slamming a couple days ago and Leffew. We took care of the ball...Somto had four tos cause we gave him the ball in bad spots, but the guards took care of it. DeShayne was so so. He really needs to up his intensity and not coast at times.

Somto had a huge game in the 2nd half with some great blocks and got a couple terrible calls against him, He also knocked down big fts.

Silas was the main reason we won. He absolutely shut down Fears who has been on a roll. Along with great board work and scoring he making 8-9 from the stripe he is our leader.

Asa with another really good game. He is just so consistent.
