Man my heart goes out to Kirby as I lost my dad back in August and he so wanted to make it one more season of watching our dawgs! When you lose your dad you lose your teacher 💔

I sure wouldn’t want to be a kid that’s hitting portal in the midst of a lose like this. Can’t imagine walking into Kirby’s office and saying “um…coach…..I want to transfer”. Tough situation but maybe most of that has already been communicated

Could this rule lead to creative coaching changes this offseason?

With all the talk of coaching changes this recent rule change came to mind. It’s variable we haven’t talked about much since the rule changed in June. Could there be a scenario where Kirby hires an NFL or seasoned college OC that doesn’t have to recruit? Would this open a path for someone like Joe Brady or Todd Monken who are brilliant offensive mind but, don’t care for the grind of recruiting to come to Georgia? Perhaps they don’t even have to coach a position group; Brandon Streeter can be the sole QB coach.

Alabama is doing something similar with Cain Womack. He isn’t going to coach a position group next season. Could this be an option to free up Shu to focus on defensive strategy?

Think of this sceanario….

If Kirby was still defensive coordinator at Bama under Saban and he looked into the future and had to stop Bobo’s 2024 UGA offense……he and Saban would have been licking their chops!! It would have been UGLIER offensively than what we witnessed any time this year!! I’m sure Kirby recognizes our offensive ineptness in our current situation……I’m sure there were no defensive coordinators we faced this year that was in fear of our offense…..smh
