No tackling in practice

I saw the subject of Georgia not tackling and only going thud in practice buried in a thread and I am honestly shocked. I can’t believe this isn’t a bigger topic on this forum. I’m also really surprised Kirby has not been questioned about this.

If this is in fact true, I am so disappointed. That decision stinks of Richt era softness. I never thought Kirby would take our practices and thus program in that direction. It is no wonder this team just feels different. Much less missing tackles all over the place.

Trump sits down with Maria Bartiromo to discuss his economic plan and let's just say it's frightening how detached from reality he sounds....

When he's confronted with the fact that his tariffs would add $7.5 Trillion to the debt and his budget would increase the deficit faster than than Harris's he goes into a loop repeating the something sometiems doubling and tripling down on the size of the tariffs seemingly unaware of how tariffs, debt, deficit and the budget works. What about this is core conservatism? I see a lot of Ronal Reagan fans here but that can't be true if you're voting for this. Trump is seriously mentally unwell.

While I was meeting with them I learned about their main business and it is fascinating, so I asked if I could share it with the readers here.

So if you are a loyal Dawg alumni/supporter who runs a business and carries a significant annual media budget, reach out to Elite NIL Solutions. The way they buy media is amazing.

The graphic below and in the link shows the average 15% media savings they can deliver for any company (see the example below). Elite NIL Solutions is open to a meeting with anyone who is spending north of $1M on their annual media cost/buys.

They can set up a 45-minute Zoom call and quickly take any owner/decision-maker through their process. The good news is that they can do the assessment within a few days and there is absolutely ZERO risk - you do not have to change agencies or what media they are buying. The goal is to bring value back to the Bulldog alumni and help free up cash savings that can then be redeployed in support of the CCC and Georgia’s NIL efforts. They pay you the savings upfront, which blows my mind. Of course, you use your savings however you see fit yet the goal is to make it a win for all parties.

JAX renovation

Saw this paragraph somewhat buried in this AP story.

“The project also will affect the annual Florida-Georgia game and the Gator Bowl; Florida and Georgia have bid their rivalry out for consecutive years, with expected destinations being Atlanta in 2026 and Miami, Orlando or Tampa in 2027.”

Anyone heard anything lately on this front?

If you are on Medicare or know someone who is..............

Don't believe the Medicare Advantage (part C) ads. There is no Medicare part C. Advantage is not Medicare but private health plans. Advantage plans deny coverage to 17% of the procedures that real Medicare does not need any prior approval.

Also, I have a friend who needed physical therapy for his back. His DISadvantage plan said the three providers local were not in Network. He had to travel to another county.

My wife has had many problems in the last few years. I am so glad we have Medicare and supplement are no problem or hassle.
ALSO, the Mayo clinic will not accept Advantage patients.

If a health plan is with United Health care, Aetna, Humana etc it's Advantage.

However. there is a part D. It's private insurance for prescriptions only. Ours is with Wellcare Insurance Company.

Mississippi State coach Jeff Lebby was asked about Kirby reaching out...

Mississippi State Jeff Lebby was asked about Kirby Smart reaching out after last Saturday's shoving incident:
Was Lebby satisfied?
Lebby - “I’m satisfied. Kirby reached out to me right after the game, and reached out to Mike. There was great dialogue, and communication there."
Was Lebby surprised that Kirby reached out?
Lebby: "If I was on the other side of it I would have done something incredibly similar. And it was. It was immediate.”

Here's why we'll be much better this year and make the dance.

Some predictions are starting to show up on some national sites so I wanted to re-iterate some points i made this summer. We lost fifteen games last year. Seven games last year by double figures. Three of those games by 14 and four others by 10. I believe we had a shot in all of those games until the last 6-8 minutes.I know we lost two for sure and maybe three games primarily due to CMW's decisions. Mostly involving the D. That is problematic for me, but overall I felt he did about a B- on the season as we got better as the year progressed. A lack of depth limited our options for sure. There were several main reasons we lost:1 ) the other teams had considerably more talent in the games we lost by double digits.2 ) we were outrebounded by a lot, in most of our losses, on both ends.3) Our outside game was erratic, inconsistent and limited to basically three options4 ) Our inside scoring was just as inconsistent and we had few easy opportunities as a team.5) Our individual and team D was good to average and below at times. Again too inconsistent. See coaching. We also shot fts poorly and turned it too much over at times, but those were not killers often.Several reasons we will be above average in the sec and dance: ( without knowing the true strength of sec teams this season, but by all accounts the league is somewhat stronger overall )Without the stat sheets in front of me I would guess, on average, we gave up 3-4 offensive rebound buckets per game. Throw in fts with many and you're looking at about 10 ppg. many O rebounds led to open 3s. That will not be the case this year and will score often off O boards. We will be + in that category. Our outside shooting will be much improved with multiple options. My guess is at least 9+ ppg points over last year.Better outside shooting will allow our inside guys room to work and work they can. We have at least five bigs that can score in multiple ways inside. 10+ ppg. Throw in our slashing guards and that's 6+ ppg.FTs are a question mark at this point. We will be much stronger on D overall due to our guards being able to play their man tougher because of our shotblockers inside. We will block a lot of shots inside. Easy buckets will be at a minimum. And we will be much more athletic allowing for more pressure D. Our defensive rebounding will afford many more break opportunities this year. Our improved D is worth 8-10 ppg.Of course these are all variable game to game. And as I said I can only make an educated guess on conference strength based on last year and what I hear about the sec this year. So my instincts tell me we are 20-25 ppg better as a team than last year. If the rest of the conference has improved 10-15 ppg that yields, imo, 10-15 ppg swing in our favor most games. So based on all the above I feel like we will win somewhere around 12 conference games. We should have a eight seed or better for the tourney.
