My understanding, and I could be wrong, is that Marshall had a guy transfer out last year and Huff said something along the lines of understanding why because Marshall NIL wasn't doing anything to take of their players.

His comments rubbed people wrong up there and they didn't renew his contract. He wins the league. When Southern Miss knocked, he answered. The team liked the coach, he takes another job, the team enters the portal.

I was in Sanford the last time Marshall was and UGA squeaked out a win. I'm hoping for a different result.

For all the hand wringing about WRs and not getting 5 stars, when you look at the 2022 NC game team it had Pickens, Burton, AD, McConkey, and K. Jackson. I think Pickens was the lone 5 star. No to mention we had Bowers and the Big O at TE. All those guys could really catch contested balls. I think this years class is going to be really good and going forward I think the better value will be to try and avoid the 5 star bidding wars. Try to have one game changer sure but hoping Coley can build that type of talent going forward.

On sec channel at 6:00 will not win championship, but fun to watch with a very, very good freshman turning on!

I'm concerned that should we win the Sugar Bowl whether most fans will pass in hopes of being able to see the Dawgs play in the big dance in our home state. I know that's what I'm personally thinking.

They faked a QB draw and slipped a guy out who initially acted as if he was blocking. The defense crashed hard and the receiver was all alone. Seems like GS would be effective with that one.

yeah we dont play Clemson and have one more easy game but look at this:

We still have to play potentially 4 top ten teams. While we play Bama, Ole Miss and Texas at home we are still playing top ten teams.

While we play the best teams at home instead of on the road, we still have to play top teams, we also now have to play @Auburn and @Tennessee, two places that are really tough places to play where you can struggle even if their team is not ranked (see auburn last year). Tech continues to improve and we have to play the on the road as well.

If you think about the daunting fact that we will have to break in a new QB that is going to make this whole thing really tough.

Texas will be in great shape with Manning, Bama looks like they might have a normal QB to replace Milroe which will be helpful to us. Ole Miss probably will have a good QB to replace Dart. Tennessee will be in year to of Nico who is going to be a really good one imo.

We have some work to do this offseason to make the playoffs in 25
