for the foreseeable future at least. Portal and NIL have depleted the depth for the elite teams which has been discussed a bunch. On the recruiting end, teams can’t stack five stars on top of each other unless they have unlimited funds.

Even those with unlimited funds, recruits making a million plus I have to assume won’t have the same grind /work ethic of guys in the past. That’s just natural human reaction to me once you receive life changing money.

All that leads to more parity and inconsistency from the top teams week to week. I think this season’s play is the start of a trend across CFB. Hoping we can make a run and finish off the last dynasty for quite some time.

I don’t know which version of ourselves we get tomorrow. Texas is certainly good enough to win the game, but I think the matchup may be more favorable for this team.

Georgia being used to drive up the bidding up to the last minute. Hell, Caleb Downs had an apartment picked out in Athens, and just like Texas and Terry, at the last minute, someone in Ohio made a stupid offer and Downs is a Buckeye.
Now, just where is UGA when it comes to NIL. I know we're not the f'in Dollar Tree, but one school has to be Neiman Marcus, and it ain't us apparently.

There is NOTHING special about this texas team. These arrogant longhorns have been cfb irrelevant for 15 years. They hadn't won a Big 12 title in 14 years before backing into one last season.

FOURTEEN YEARS! Now they think they are coming into the SEC with a CUPCAKE schedule awarded to them by Greg Sankey and going to take OUR SEC TITLE from us.
They" (Whoever the HELL "they" are) say it's tough to beat the same team twice in a season. Well it's happened 7 times and the winner of the first game has won the 2nd contest 5 times. 🤔

Fun Fact: One of the only 2 times it did not happen was UGA vs albarn in 2017. 💪

Georgia has the better talent, better coaching and the Mercedes Benz Stadium mojo where Kirby is undefeated (5-0) against anyone not named Alabama.

The Dawgs are the only team that texas has played that had a heartbeat and it wasn't a fluke we kicked their butts .........even with Beck throwing 3 picks. (lets not do that again)

Their 17 (and only) first half points vs Texas A&M wasn't a fluke. They are "combat ineffective" against a good defense...........and the Dawgs are bringing it tomorrow.

Another beatdown by the Dawgs and hopefully we will see the longhorns drop 9 spots in the final rankings. Unlikely but we can only hope.

These are both highly talented, well-coached teams.

With Georgia, we've seen multiple times how good this team can be... and just how bad it can be.
With Texas, I don't think we've seen its ceiling or its floor. It's hard to know which Georgia team we'll get week to week, but it's also hard to know just what kind of team Texas really is.

But here's the difference: A lot of the guys in red and black have faced pressure and adversity this season. The upperclassmen have played in more than their share of huge games over the past four seasons and won almost all of them. The Dawgs have been backs to the wall multiple times this year, and they know how to dig deep.

Texas? They made the playoff last year as Big 12 champ, and they lost. The only truly huge game they've played this year was against Georgia, and they lost. When have they responded well to real pressure?

I'd bet on the guys that have been there. The guys who have responded in the toughest moments. The team that is BATTLE-TESTED.

This Game tomorrow means something to these dudes in the Georgia locker room. If it did not then some of them could take this as a rest week and not suit up and give it a go tomorrow to help the team win. Don’t get this sh*t twisted, they want to avenge the championship loss last year and skull drag this Texas team for 60 minutes tomorrow. Bad bad taste in this teams mouth and especially Carson Beck’s. We are not perfect, we are not the past, but this team is resilient and mad as hell. Go Dawgs

Officially become the school and fan base I dislike most. More than Bama more than Floriduh, who I have hated more than anything in the world for most of my 49 years. Should have never let them in.
