Wait until early morning on signing day and then contact three or 4 Florida State recruits and make them all offers?
Something has to be done. Kid commits and we are on hold at that position, then at the very last minute they do this. I was thinking go after two or three of their Defensive or offensive line recruits at the last minute.

It would be awesome to do an article/interview with one of our signees to get the inside info on what schools are doing/offering at the last minute. They don't have to tell specifics about the amounts, but it would be interesting to have Montgomery say "Florida was offering me 30% more a month and a bigger signing bonus and guaranteed me the starting job after Lagway leaves." And the recruits could do it anonymously, too. I just would love to understand some of the behind the scenes of their decision and how crazy the last 24 hours must be for them.

I know he's a 2027 recruit, but does anyone know how we are looking here? My friend currently coaches in Gwinnett County and coached in another state for a while. He has coached and seen plenty of P5 guys. He thinks Tyson is going to be special.

I will also say: the fact that he is DeAngelo Tyson's son can't hurt our chances, but it does make me feel pretty old.

Dude has been a very strong player for us. Imo he's been the best defensive back & top 5 player on the entire team this year for UGA.

Measurables may not test out great but he's a damn good player

I see that we have two more walkers in this incoming class. There are few names that I automatically think success with more than Walker. Of course, HW but more recently Quay and Jalen. Bailey has to be on the list as well.

What are some other names that immediately make you think the guy will pan out? Green? Davis?

Hey @Anthony Dasher, little birdie told me that one Signing Day you got your truck stuck in the mud, in your own driveway and missed Signing Day at Blind Pig? 😂😳🤔

Obviously you will need both to be a truly great offense, but this is why in my opinion the RB that flipped today is not a huge loss. Last team to win the national title where the running game and an elite RB were the clear focus was Bama in 2015. And Derrick Henry is a complete unicorn.

We almost did it in 2017.


Michigan did it last year with a big time running game and defense, but their RBs weren't elite playmakers. Solid, kind of like Zamir and Kenny Mac.

Just like the NFL is showing with their roster management and budgeting, there is no need to spend a crap load of NIL at the RB position on high school recruits. If you end up with a three star Jeanty type that was underrated? Yes, pay him once he proves it. But if what FSU spent on Kromah is true, Georgia would be crazy to match that or come close to it, even if we had the funds to do so.
