Georgia and slow starts

Whether it’s on offense or defense we’ve seemed to be asleep on one or both sides of the ball in the first half. I’m thinking if we can just be tied going into halftime or down one possession we will be ok as we are resilient. I’m very afraid of digging a hole against this Texas defense. We didn’t honestly play well against them on offense and I think a two score lead at the half and it’s lights out this isn’t Tech. I’m not expecting many points Sat. I’d say around 17-24 max for our offense.

best way to pick playoff teams?

There are so many ways that have been discussed--the old BCS system, current committee system etc

I personally like the SOR ( Strength of record ) to pick the teams at the end of the year. Take the conference champions and then the next 8 spots go to the best SOR.

Obviously for SOR to work you have to have the other rankings ( AP and Coaches polls ) and could throw in the BCS computers to accomplish the same thing.

Honestly, I think the BCS method was great if you expand it to the 12 team format we currently have.

Dom Lovett

I know he has had his ups and downs. The Georgia Tech game was a great example, with the fumble and a drop. However, the three catches he had late in that game (the dig for a first down and the 2 TDs) had to be a big confidence boost!

Lovett is a playmaker. We saw it as a Mizzou. We've seen it in spurts here at Georgia. If those late-game heroics boost his game mentally heading into post-season play, I believe it could be a big deal for this Georgia offense.

Just spoke with a former coworker who happens to be a diehard Longhorn

I answer his call with a cordial “hello”……the first words out of his mouth “You guys aren’t going to get so lucky this time.” I replied that surely he didn’t think we just got lucky in Austin….Yesterday, a longhorn fan that works in my plant says “we’re paying you guys back this weekend.”……Dear 6 pound 12 ounce Baby Jesus please let us wax them, so I don’t have to listen to their crowing.

Mark Milley,..the sign of corruption

Mark Milley was the Biden joint chief of staff made famous for being curious about learning about "white rage" as an inherent evil among white people 3 years ago.

It comes as no surprise that Mark Milley has been rewarded for his obedience to power brokers by being given a "senior advisor' role to the second biggest bank in the world (JP Morgan).

The largest banks in the world are always looking for corruptible DOD, DOS, and various govt officials to hire for the sake of their contacts/influence with current officials and understandings of recent situations in world affairs.

And for a person like Mark Milley,...it's easy to understand the transition into banking life which pays perhaps 7 times the salary of public service, but it's exactly why officials such as Milley begin auditioning for the rewards of a high salary by selling their souls while public servants for the expectations of a future upgrade.

Which is why we should stop honoring all people for public service,...maybe 70 percent of them serve with honor,...but a large number serve for ulterior motives,

With the Redshirt rule now allowing ...

players to play in 4 games, plus conference championship, plus bowl games and playoffs and still get a redshirt, we are going to have an extremely young team next year with a lot of players getting redshirt status, even though they could get snaps in 6-9 games this year.

Does Rivals have a participation report? I can see the stat sheet, and that shows number of games played as long as the player recorded a statistic. But what about just getting a game snaps? Is a participation report available just to see how many actually got into 4 games or less?
