our church is looking to do a parking lot project. It will involve tearing out some old existing asphalt and expanding the parking lot footprint to include some graveled parking areas around a new facility. We would like to consider some civil engineering firms to prepare a bid-able set of design plans for the project. This will be a relatively small project so it likely would not be a good fit for a large civil engineering firms. A smaller design firm with experience on similarly sized projects would probably be better suited. Experience in working with the Georgia DOT could be a plus. Firms located in northeast Georgia, upstate South Carolina would probably be the best options given proximity to the project location.

Let me say, I have always liked Joe Rogan as a comedian but just never listened to his podcast. I listened to the Trump one and plan on listening to the Vance one(no surprise there)

Now I have had a couple business associates from all over the country bring it up in conversation. They generally know my politics and I know theirs and maybe that is why they mentioned it. They are really impressed with JD Vance and I was surprised to hear them admit that. None of them mentioned Trump when it happened but they really liked Vance.

Has anyone else heard the same thing from their Independent/Democrat friends?

I do some Uber driving on SSI. Tonight I've driven a number of students and they report that almost all of the students they know are voting for Trump. One of them described Kamala as a "ding a ling".

It looks like the younger generation has some common sense after all.

Last year we were 20-17. Not great-great, but a stepping stone.

My evaluation for that team was:

- Need to improve interior defense/rim protection
- We need an inside scoring presence that can also pull the defense away from the basket
- Better outside shooting … from more sources
- Better rebounding … especially offensive rebounding
- PG’s that can run the team without the endless dribbling(stopping all movement)
- Guards and wings who can drive … AND FINISH at the rim

Guess what - we improve all of these things, And I don’t feel we regressed from any strengths from last year.

Just curious.... can Lagway run with Vandagriff and/or Manning? Or is he faster?

As much fun as it was watching Jalon Walker chase the Tex QB's, can he - and the other UGA spies - keep DJ contained and the FU offense by extension grounded? Expert and non-expert opinions welcome.
