Question about the Pass D (PSA: there are stats included so if that offends you don't open).....

My question to the Vent: How bad is the Pass D? Follow up: Is there a chance the Vent has exaggerated how bad it is (me included because I've been hard on the D in general)?

Consider the following:

Considering only the 5 P4 games, Georgia's Pass D has had 1 horrendous performance against Bama and 1 bad performance against MSU. The rest of the games weren't terrible statistically speaking. Even in the AU game which wasn't great, the D held them under 60%, to their 2nd lowest ypa, and gave up no TDs. Was also well below their season avgs for passing. And the Clemson and UK games were also the best or 2nd best that any team had played those offenses.

So does this context change anyone's opinion about the Pass D? I don't think it changes mine at the ELITE level (they aren't ELITE and against ELITE Os like Bama, they will likely struggle), but I'm not sure they are quite as bad as I had originally thought either.

Good Morning Dawg Nation

Here we are. Half way to the weekend again. Seems like I'm always counting down until the weekend. 33 years of cleaning teeth will do that to you 😅😅

Today is procedure day for our @banjodawg prayers up friend!!

Sometimes reading the Vent, I want to channel my inner Elsa and sing "Let it Go, Let it Go" to the top of my lungs. Then I wonder if some have been under a rock since Saturday night and just checked X to wander back over and make a post 🤦🏼‍♀️ geez

Think I'm gonna grab a chicken biscuit this morning!! Have a great day friends

Praying for all those on LDGMDNOPL
and all the GMDN gang too!

Happy Birthday/Anniversary if you're celebrating today 🎉🎉

Love you guys and gals, MEAN IT.....

CBS - do they not even try to hide their bias?

So they try to Fact Check Vance in the debate incorrectly. He smoked Walz despite their best efforts to show extreme bias

They release parts of Harris's interview then clean it up for the 60 minutes version and folks say WTH?

Then they interview Speaker Johnson, completely edit out some good responses and try to make him and Trump bad with the edited version.

This is unacceptable and overtly bias with no regard. Should Trump win, i wouldn't do any interviews with CBS, would rarely take any of their questions in a Press Conference and would call them out on their Bias every chance they get.

Newsmax, Fox and CNN would get all the sit-downs at this point if I were a Republican Candidate for anything. We have hit a new level of bias and intentional trying to influence the election.........

As far as I can tell, the only two reasons someone

would pick Georgia to win are that we've looked incredible for a few 20-30 minute stretches (so we have the ability if we can match that for 50-60 minutes), or because it's Kirby Smart and Georgia.

Is there another reason why a reasonably objective pundit would pick us to win? I know Texas hasn't really played anybody, but they've beaten everyone the way you'd expect a really good team should.

WATCH: Rick Neuheisel Reveals Why He Believes Georgia Will Take Down Texas

For the first time in 50 games, Georgia is the betting underdog. It's a term that hasn't been used in the same sentence with Georgia since before their 2021 regular season opener versus Clemson. And as weird as it may sound to say the Bulldogs are underdogs, it may be even more odd to see how many experts are picking against Georgia in this weekend's matchup versus Texas. However, former Colorado and Washington head coach and now-turned CBS Sports analyst Rick Neuheisel isn't one of those betting against Georgia.

"I think Georgia has found something in Arian Smith and Dillon Bell. I think Carson Beck has two guys he can go to; they were unbelievable in that second half as a desperate team against Alabama," Neuheisel said. "They were unbelievable last week against Mississippi State. I think they can challenge Texas's secondary which has really not been challenged. When you think about Michigan, and you think about Oklahoma and their receivers, I think that makes the game, and Georgia has the DNA to win these kind of games; I'm taking the Dawgs."

Dash/Radi: RB Roderick Robinson?

How long is RB Rod Robinson expected to be OUT after undergoing turf toe surgery in Fall camp?
We’re 7-8 weeks post-surgery now… Is he still expected to play this season, or is it a season-ending injury?

(we sure could use a big power back like RR0 to get those tough rushing yards up the middle during our last tough stretch of conference games in Nov & hopefully in the SECCG & playoffs!)

Last year regular season. We Played Missouri, ole miss, and Tenn. Ended up legit teams

Yet a weekly mention was our schedule sucked. As if we were in the ACC or something

Wasn't a super hard schedule for sure but felt like it was a HUGE reminder every week made to remind everyone we cannot make a mistake! (The preemptive nature is what bugs me and not HOW it played out...there was an effort to say UGA isn't that great they play nobody. Haven't heard that theme this year at all with teams at the top).

So this season.

Texas will have played at Michigan (new coach and basically whole new team and they don't seem good) hmmm didn't they already lose to another crap team

Oklahoma (down 5 wrs)...good defense but seriously

Then us (this is the only reason their schedule is harder than ours last year imo)

But then... ark and Tex am? So at end of the season, what are the odds they only play one other playoff team or none if we lose another on the road?

That is their gauntlet? Have heard nothing on a national scale about their schedule. And that is fine..just felt odd last year that it was beaten and beaten and then we lose one game by 3 on a neutral field and voila.
