Really missed out on quantifying the talent, in the first two games. SMU & Indiana should have been assigned to the Who Cares Bowl, in Anchorage, Alaska.
I hope they ask every member of that CFP committee to resign. I really looked forward to last night and today and here I find myself now having time to do house chores, smh.
Now if only fools like “the committee” and Booger “double down on SMU despite them being murdered at the half in a hostile environment because they came back on CLEMSON to ALMOST win and that’s the same thing” McFarland could comprehend the following grid to inform their decisions and prognosticating…
“Title Contender” Caliber
Top half of SEC
Top quarter of BIG10 (group of 16, whatever the hell they call themselves now)
“Quality Teams You Best Not Sleepwalk Against” Caliber
Bottom half of SEC
Notre Dame
Boise State and ASU? (TBD)
“Crapshoot of Interchangable Programs with Mediocre Ceilings” Caliber
Entire ACC
Entire Big12 (minus ASU?)
Bottom 3/4 of BIG10 (I mean BIG16, no I mean BIG10)
Programs from the “Group of 5” (minus Boise State?)
Because Alabama - ole Miss and USCjr or Miami aren’t in it - could care less if they invited Mercer as long as we are in. The less challengers tha better.
Arizona state, Boise state and Clemson are all borderline too but at least they won their conferences.
Both played in a tough Championship game. Both played solid rivals week before that. Now both are solid teams playing each other vs some of the teams with easier first round.
Then the next round game for them is tough. To win the NC either one of them will have played in 6 consecutive tough games.
I know a lot of people don’t like him but I think Herbstreit does a good job and is certainly the biggest voice in CFB. The Committee was an absolute joke this year and we have to get away from just W/L record determining the top 12 teams moving forward. Indiana had no business even getting the opportunity to compete for a National Championship.
Section E row B is the front row. There is no Row A. This is right behind the scorers table so you can help the referees review the plays to make sure they got the call right. Courtside club hospitality which gives you free food. Parking at Hoke Smith, right beside the Coliseum. 706-202-9871. Zelle or PayPal friends and family.
And Ole Miss v Penn State would have been far better than what was given to us by "The Committee ". And before you say it, I already k iw it, " The Greatest Good in the eyes of The Committee is making sure all conferences have a seat at the table." All other Goods, like the best match ups, are of secondary importance in their eyes."
