Keeping the Main Thing the Main Thing

The Sugar Bowl is on for tomorrow night. We don't know who will win, but it damn sure won't be ISIS or the twisted individual who committed this despicable crime.

By acting to strengthen security in and around this game, all concerned are keeping the main thing the main thing.

Our prayers belong with everyone killed and injured by this evil act and with all who love them.

We can also extend our prayers to Coach Sonny Smart and the entire Smart family for a successful medical treatment unrelated to the attack.

I'm truly sorry for all the fans in New Orleans who've had their plans upended. It absolutely sucks. I hope as many of you as possible can remain in New Orleans for the game, and thank you for representing the Dawg Nation.

Our lives continue. The Sugar Bowl is on.

Go Dawgs!!!

Why not move the Sugar Bowl?

I get that games take a while to prepare for logistically, but there’s a sufficiently large venue right up the road and it’s an 8:45 kick. Theyve got all day, I don’t get why they don’t move it up to Baton Rouge.

Plus finding a way to keep it today doesn’t hand a gargantuan advantage to a Penn State that already has 24 hours rest on the winner before any delays….

Edit: I fully understand the logistics are not realistic. Was looking for details as to why for my personal knowledge. Intelligent responses are appreciated.
