Herman is a transformational coach and may be the next Urban or Saban. Kirby is more of a plow horse type of coach than a so called "prodigy" or "genius".

if you slap Kirby on the @ss he will plow the the field all day without complaint. You don't have to be "clever" to succeed in CFB. You just have to work very hard and Kirby will do this. While Herman will get all the accolades Kirby will continue to work very hard. Kirby inherited the premier program in GA in great shape where Herman got possibly the no. 5 program in Tejas in disarray.

Over time hard work usually pays off more than intelligence and ability. I fully expect Kirby to win more games than Herman and would not trade him. mcGarrity was right to ignore Herman and to focus like a laser on Kirby.

Anybody received email yet for their tix? I have not but sometimes the emails arrive to some folks one day and others another day. Just wondering if they’ve started to come out?

We've got some Thursday night football coming up tonight as Dacula faces Buford.

Going ahead and posting this thread now because of Buford's media restrictions that don't let media in until 7:15. So I figured I'd get this done beforehand instead of scrambling last second.
