Headed down to the Waycross area for a couple of days to see family, but will be around.
The team is also getting a couple of days before returning to practice.
On the 27th and 28th we will hear from Coach Bobo and Coach Schumann before the team flies to New Orleans on the 29th.
We’ll be leaving for Sin City the same day.
Both teams will have just one practice and I believe a walk-through at the SuperDome before the game on New Year’s night.
On the 30th, every player and every coach is made available to the media, so that will be a big day.
Continue to keep an eye on the portal.
Anyway, hope every single one of you has a great holiday and get to spend some quality time with your families.
This playoff stuff is new for everyone involved, players, coaches, fans and media alike.

Merry Christmas to you all, hope y'all have a good one...

On our current roster I counted 89 scholarship worthy players. This is counting Drew Miller, Cash Jones, Jah Jackson and Dan Jackson. No clue if they are on scholarship but they are scholarship worthy players.

We have 24 incoming guys on scholarships. That’s not counting the QB or DB that came on late. No clue if they will be on scholarship or not.

That means we have 113 scholarship worthy players not counting that QB and DB. Now some of those guys are already gone like Bowles, Jarrett, David DS, Julian H, etc. that means we need to lose 28 scholarship worthy guys to get to 85.

Truth of the matter if we hang onto a lot of guys we may not have that much room to take a lot of transfers. Remember in 2022 we took no one. I don’t think it will be like that this year, but we may only have room for 3-5 at most.

He was highly thought of coming from Canada and as a freshman at Oklahoma State…his last season there and here he wasn’t the same.

My Christmas wish is for many of you to step away from the hot takes, the “we ain’t never gonna get nobody” attitudes and constant negativity.

We are in the Good Ol Days people. We are playing for our 3rd National Championship in 4 years. We have a coach who consistently, despite injuries, coaching changes and an ever changing landscape in college sports - puts together a team that plays more for the G on their helmet than the name on their jersey. I’d love to put together a modern day “All Star” type team as much as anyone, but evidence has shown that players who chase dollars and promises of starts don’t seem to produce the results you’d think, often leaving carnage and broken locker rooms behind. Program over player.

As much as I believe I know what moves should be made, plays to call and coaches to hire, the last time I checked I wasn’t on any hot lists to be hired as an SEC Coach. I’m willing to bet neither are are you. I trust Coach Smart and I wish some of you would learn to do the same and support our team.

Crying from the same people every year and yet there’s Georgia winning another SECCG and competing for natties. I guess the game has passed ol kirbs by. I mean we only have the two seed and finished in the top five in recruiting again. 😔 I’m sure Kirby will get nothing from the portal and just let us get our pants pulled down again because that’s all he does is lose…..😩 idk if I can even have a merry Christmas I’m so upset from all the losing the UGA football program does.
