Best play call of the season?

Flea flicker at the end of the 3rd quarter. Crushed the momentum from the “recall” and touchdown by Texas.
Brilliant call and even better execution.
You could feel the game in total control and the crowd was not the same.
Stop criticizing Bobo for every play that doesn’t get 10 yards! He’s our guy…and he’s working an offense with a small WR room.
Go dawgs.

I can see the vision

TID having a career year

Miller having his best season as a Dawg

Mykel finally getting closer and closer to 100% — notice how much better we are when he plays > 25-30 snaps

Damon fresh off the best game of his career

Jalon is an absolute menace off the edge

Brinson almost back to 100% and consistently getting in the backfield

Hall makes this group even more dynamic once ready…

Good Morning Dawg Nation

Them Dawgs is HELL!!!

I had a strange calmness all week. It lasted about 2 minutes into the game...

This is who we are. And I'm damn proud to be a Dawg fan. The BEST coach in college football is at the helm....even Bama fans are saying it.
This team just keeps fighting, keeps their heads down and keeps pushing, clawing, climbing their way up and out of situations and games. I'll take that every damn day of the week. Ive watched the end of the game interview 50 times and I swear CKS almost teared up in the beginning. He was just so proud of this team and how they played relentlessly, didn't get rattled and kept grinding. Me too coach, me too!!

F those Refs
F those Longhorns

HBTMFD!!!!

I'm gonna enjoy this one for 2 weeks!!

Praying for all those on LDGMDNOPL
and all the GMDN gang too!

Happy Birthday/Anniversary if you're celebrating today 🎉🎉

Love you guys and gals, MEAN IT.....

Go Dawgs ❤️

April

If it wasn’t obvious before, this is Jalon Walker’s team

He is the heart and soul of this team. He shows it not only with his play on the field (exceptional) but also his leadership and attitude to motivate and set an example. He’s a coach’s son and you can see it in the way he interacts with his teammates. He is a great figure for the university and I hope we continue to see this defense rise to new levels now that guys are starting to get healthy.

My thoughts on last night

How about em?

That was a statement made by Kirby and the leaders on the team that we don’t have culture problems. We may be constructed differently or in a weird way in certain spots(receiver), but our B and up game trumps everyone else’s A and down.

Texas didn’t play poorly, they didn’t have a warm chance in hell vs either LOS. Their OL is woefully overrated. Banks got absolutely smoked 3 times in the first 15 plays vs OU. That was easy to see that if our staff turned our guys loose, they can’t block us. You know who can block us if we turn them loose? NOBODY.

I want @NetParDawg and all the other Mykell haters to go ahead and tell me if they want me to deep fry or bake this crow for them. That kid is who the NFL thought Travon Walker would be. At his best he’s the most devastating edge guy we’ve EVER had. Love me some pollack, love me some Jarvis, but when that kid is healthy he’s going to consistently competing for the NfL lead league in sacks year in and out. He’s a generational DL talent too and that will keep showing as the season goes. He may not put up the raw numbers but he’s king shit on the field when he’s healthy.

Jalon Walker is our leader on D. Animal.

Starks answered the bell last night. Was lights out tackling and in spots he was supposed to be.

Raylen played incredible last night. He’s slowly but surely figuring it out and when he does. Watch out.

Chris Cole is not going to be just a sub package guy for long. He’s a freak show and his coverage instincts are next level. CJ is all the sudden the weak link at LB and he’s still damn solid.

Secondary played much, much better last night. Everette with the game of his life and Julio hung in there too. Aguero in coverage is our weak spot but he can flat hit people. Jacorey looked very good at star. When we zone things behind the pass rush we are unbeatable.

Trevor was exceptional last night. Our OL is just meh. The interior is very good. We are better with Bobo at C. Still not blocking the right guys consistently. Earnest has been nothing short of brutal. He is awesome in space and can block down ok but he’s the worst pass pro tackle we’ve had since Catalina. Teams hunt him. Truss played solid. Freeling was very ok and the rotation shortened up a lot.

receivers are who they are. We have some exceptional athletes but no real receivers. Have to catch the ball, can’t rely on Arian outside the numbers as much unless he’s breaking back inside. There should never be a curl thrown to Bell nor Arian but we have to widen teams out. They won’t cost us a natty but without Bobo scheming dudes open everywhere we’d be in big trouble. He’s running the exact same passing concepts and getting dudes open using the exact designs Monken did. Nothings changed but the OL and receivers have gone backwards.

Carson’s mechanics are terrible right now. Once he feels rush he stands straight up and loses his base and goes all arm so that’s why he’s scattershot. Still, kid is a gamer and his calm demeanor is perfect for this bunch. He’s a dawg, for better or worse and he never gets too high or low.

Texas being consensus 1 overall and the best team and folks buying that hype is the ultimate litmus test in who knows what they’re talking about or who’s blindly trusted the media. Problem is media hasn’t done any really research on either team and just spread it like wildfire. I knew when Saban picked them he didn’t watch a damn bit of either team sans UGA vs bama. If you watched both you knew they had no chance on the LOS nor any receiver with Bond dinged that scares us whatsoever. They never had a running game and that defense is just average. They aren’t as talented as were 1-85, they don’t have near as many draft goons for April, Sark isnt in the same stratosphere as CKS. Period.

Tenn will be a suffocation around 24-7 or so. Ole Miss will be 38-20 at best for them, neither 1 has the horses.

The reality of this group is we are flawed in areas. Offense isn’t built like we are used to, going to have to rely on the OL and receivers and Carson down the stretch. We aren’t built to run the ball currently. But we can sling it for 400 on most. Even with the meh group of receivers. Can’t cover all of them and worry about ETN. The offense will be fine.

Defensively, at full health. This group is better than 2022 and overall will be more effective vs the elite offenses than 2021 was due to the secondary. Not going to be as crazy dominant vs the run. But with Mykell healthy this DL is comfortably the best pass rushing defense we’ve had under Kirby. We are unreal in pass rushing talent. It’s not a fluke either or a 1 off game. What we did to their OL last night was more impressive than bullying Clemson’s pitiful 2021 group. Mykell is an all timer healthy, Jalon is too. TID is a first rounder, miller is a high draft pick as a run stopper. Brinson hasn’t gotten blocked yet this year. Throw in Damon coming on, Chaz is a good pass rusher. Hall is coming to boost that group too. We have the best DL in the country and it’s not all that close. I hear all kinds of stupid shit like South Carolina is or Michigan. But when we let our guys hunt, you couldn’t combine 2 DL’s from any other school in the country to equal ours. Theyre next level badass.

LB’s will be fine as will the secondary, staff learned last night if we zone stuff more and send hell the dB’s will turn the ball over too.

We aren’t a perfect team, there will be head scratching moments throughout the year. But overall if we play B or up we win every game by 7+. If we play C someone could get us in the playoff. No more of those teams in the regular season.

Whoever wins the natty still will have to beat this UGA team and if we play our best we are so much better than the next team because WE CORNERED THE MARKET ON TOP 100 defenders.

Nothing has changed in CFB with NIL in terms of how you win it all. Defense wins championships, period. The team with the most draft eligible guys for the following draft wins it all 98% of the time. That’s us this year by a landslide.

This weekend just got better for me

This weekend just got better for me
my good friend Tim ONeal just won on the champions tour for his first title out there at age 52. I know this won’t mean much to the rest of the board but let me tell you why that is a good guy right there
on top of the big win in Austin I don’t know what I did to deserve such a weekend

To those fans at the game last night

How was the turnout? Nothing was said during the game about Georgia fans but y’all were definitely heard! There was a point late in the game when Texas had the ball backed up in their own territory and it sounded like the home crowd was making noise, that’s how loud y’all were! Great job!

Also, how was your interaction with Texas fans?

Kirby is different

Login to view embedded media Adonai Mitchell's twitter pic has his son wearing a UGA shirt. He was clearly pulling for UGA over Texas. Even the guys who leave the program still have love for UGA and Kirby. This is why...

In the post game presser, Kirby was asked about Beck and his issues. Obvious issues. Issues with throwing the ball to the other team. CKS said "I'm not saying he played perfect, but I saw a 3rd and 4th scramble where he put his life and body on the line and made an incredible play. I saw a guy step up on 3rd down, backed up, lost all momentum, and threw a missile to Arian that changed the course of the game. I think he played pretty good." Kirby had his back.

Kirby is a combination of the hardest working coach and one of the smartest psychological coaches in the country. He adapts his approach to maximize his players' potential. Remember how many times Kirby chewed out Stetson? That worked for Stet. He did the same to Richard LeCounte. Those were great times. But he is smart enough to know that approach will not help Beck. He knows how to work with him to maximize Beck's potential. It's extremely smart -- even better than Nick Saban's approach imo... Saban didn't adapt that. Beck wouldve crumbled under Saban.

It's obvious that Kirby has made some questionable hires recently. He knows it and those will be dealt with this spring. However, we have a head coach that will keep us in the national title hunt every year. That's damn near impossible to do, but he is doing it. I still don't know if this team can make it through the playoffs and win a Natty, but no matter how the rest of this season goes, we've got the best possible coach we can have. Enjoy it because things change. He isn't a lifer. Go Dawgs! 100.
