I have seen way too many people say they are rooting for Tennessee over Ohio State.
Some say it's because they hate Ryan Day and an Ohio State University, which I certainly understand. But need I remind y'all that the Hillbillies are one of our fiercest, most hated rivals? Don't let our recent dominance over them allow your hatred to soften. If the Vols win, they get additional validation as a program which comes with momentum, better recruiting, and an additional 10 days of hype from ESPN.
We have to cut the head off the snake.
I know this matchup isn't one where we like either team, but there is no situation where Tennessee winning that game is better for Georgia.
If you're going to respond with potential National Championship Game matchups, don't even bother. Oregon is the worst matchup possible for us from that side, so anything other than them is a victory after Gunner leads us on a glorious march through New Orleans and Miami.
Don't forget what Tennessee fans are like, at their core. They are a vile fanbase. Low IQ, odorous, and one that couldn't even keep the worsts of dentists employed.
I guaranDAMNtee you that Tennessee wouldn't be rooting for us if the situation was reversed. If Ohio State wins, so what. If Tennessee wins, they're playoff quarterfinalists, have 11 wins, and a ton of momentum.
Simply put, if you are an actual Georgia fan and not some smooth-brained, unknowledgeable sack of wet lumpy dog manure, you will not be rooting for Tennessee.
