Our defense is soft as Charmin. WIDE open receivers everywhere. You never used to see this under Kirby. Can’t get to the QB. Little passion as if we knew we could lose and still make the playoffs. No misdirection plays until the second half from Bobo. OL getting teeth kicked in. Receivers have little speed and can’t catch consistently. Beck has actually played better, but his supporting cast continues to let him down. Will Kirby make changes?
Have seen Brinson, TID, Mykel, Miller, etc all get held repeatedly without getting called. It’s not the reason we are losing, but a couple of these called might stall out some OM drives and force a punt (notice we haven’t forced one yet).
Are they able to scheme receivers so wide open when it feels like we have to have everything go absolutely perfectly to get to 3ed and 3 and convert by a foot?
