SEC Championship

I'm starting to wonder if there is a generational gap between Venter who want to play for a chance to win the SEC Championship and those who want to duck that game and play in the first round of the CFP.

For me, I'm not old enough to remember the days before the league split into divisions and held the first Conference Championship Game. From then on through the BCS years, the goals every year were to win the SEC East, then win the SEC, then win whatever bowl game we got. That SEC Championship became the crown jewel of my college football world because it seemed like we could never quite get there. We were always losing to Tenn or Florida or (inexplicably) to SCar. Winning it finally in 2002 was amazing, and I haven't taken one for granted since. Even the 2021 National Championship (in hindsight) feels a little light because we didn't win that SEC CG. We had the complete package in 2022, and that team, it can be argued, is among the greatest teams in recent history.

I'm 43 years old, and I want to win the SEC Championship, so of course, I want the Dawgs to play in the SEC Championship Game. There's already a 2-week break between the SEC CG and the first round of the CFP. I don't see a lot of value in another week off. The worst case scenario is that we lose the SEC CG and end up playing some middle of the pack ACC or Big 10 (16) and we're not that much worst off.

What say you? How old are you and what is your opinion of playing in the SEC CG?

Chinese National Registers and Votes in Michigan

Noncitizen student at the University of Michigan
Registered to vote in Michigan on Sunday, no problem.
Early ballot cast and tabulated on-site, before anything in his registration could be verified.
Vote cannot be removed from the tally after it is tabulated, as all information identifying the voter is separated from the ballot before it is counted.
NOTHING in Michigan's system caught this. It only came to light after the student contacted the county clerk's office trying to get the ballot back.

Chinese student to face criminal charges for voting in Michigan. Ballot will apparently count.

The UK labour party involved with election interference in the USA

Sofia Patel, head of communications for the UK labour party, has messaged publicly that labour party "volunteers" are being sent to swing states in the USA before the election,.. And more volunteers needed to get Kamala elected,..travel and hotels will be provided by donations to avoid USA election laws

Of course this coincides with advisors being sent to the dem party months ago from the UK labour party,...

Liberals Color Revolution

Always pay attention to liberals. They tell you exactly what they are going to do. They basically admit that they have targeted Trump using all means necessary.

Russia, Russia, Russia, 3 years of total bs. Hunter Biden Laptop was Russian Disinformation and a statement signed by 50 intel guys. Hello, deep state.

Liberalism is a disease. We need to innoculate ourselves from them.

Dictator Abraham Lincoln

Most of us who actually study history know that Abraham Lincoln acted out as a dictator in several key areas

- Suspending Habeus Corpus - https://www.history.com/this-day-in...he-writ-of-habeas-corpus-during-the-civil-war
- Going after and arresting Southern Leaders or those in the North advocating for the South- https://quod.lib.umich.edu/j/jala/2...-and-arbitrary-arrests?rgn=main;view=fulltext
- Declaring the slaves free - slaves weren't actually free until an amendment was passed after the war. Before that the Emancipation was used as a form of war booty to free anything garnered from victory
- Invading the south (Virginia) before Fort Sumter had happened - most people are not actuall aware that 2000 troops marched into Virginia before Fort Sumter illegally
- Reinterpreting the Constitution to say that states did NOT have the right to secede

Abraham Lincoln did all these things invoking his own ideas that were not backed up by the Constitution, his powers as President, but declared an existential threat to Democracy.

It is well documented that Lincoln acted as a Dictator declaring the existential threat to Democracy.

Could not both sides of this coming election declare the same of the other side? Are not the Democrats claiming this now with Maga and why couldn't Trump claim the same after what has been done to J6ers and himself and his advocates. If the US Government does not have the interests of the majority of its citizens in mind (see Immigration

I’ll say this … strictly from a depth/athleticism standpoint… I’ve got no idea what this team’s record will be…

Like many of y’all, I’ve been jaded over the years and seen some pretty crummy basketball. It almost feels wrong to get excited.
However. In my humble opinion - this is the most athletically skilled team since Jim Harrick’s final season here.
Call me stupid considering they haven’t played a real game yet, but I’m honestly struggling to come up with a front line that has the length and talent that this one has.
What this team has the potential to do around the rim is …. You fill in the blank.
They’re not going to shoot over 50 percent from 3 every game, but based on the early returns it’s going to be better than last year and we haven’t even seen Dakota Leffew and DeShayne Montgomery yet.
Love the way Tyrin Lawrence goes to the hole. It’s really great having a guard with the level of SEC experience that he does.
I thought the communication was great. Seems to be a ton of buy-in with this group, too.
Defensively, there’s still some work there, but that length and athleticism will going to help make up for a lot.
When was the last time any of y’all can remember eight blocks in a game?
We’ll have to see how the team deals with the hype that it’s starting to get. But man, Saturday’s exhibition was definitely an exciting start.

Asa Newell interview

“It's great 'cause I've got family all around. This is something I want to do, help bring Georgia basketball back,” Asa told Babcock Hoops over the phone in an exclusive interview.

“The best thing is that the fans are really hungry for a great basketball team. The culture has changed at Georgia basketball. My brother says it [and] the coaches say it. So it's just something that we've got to take day by day.”

Two of his most imposing forces will be Asa and Overtime Elite’s Somto Cyril.

“He's an athletic freak of nature,” Asa said. “He does some things, I'm just like, 'Woah.' He should not be that tall and big, at that size, to be doing some of the things that he's doing.

“We need him. If we want to be good, Somto is a huge part of our defense and our offense and just having that addictive energy that he brings every single day. He's a guy who's gonna let you slack off. He does a lot of things really well, so I'm just really excited to play with him.”

This is how desperate Democrats are. I got the following text this morning

The lengths they will go to to keep power. Keep in mind I am in Savannah. No where near Atlanta:

“Hi! It's the Voter Transportation Project. Need a ride to the polls? We're offering free Lyft rides in and around Atlanta from now until Election Day. Call or text ATLANTA to 866-759-8683 and we'll get you set up, at no cost to you. - Political Innovations, Stop to end”

Good Article about Ga Early Voting

On Oct. 24, 2022, there were 25,000 more Democrats than Republicans voting early in Georgia. On the same day this year, there were 103,000 more Republicans than Democrats voting early.

We'll see where this lands, I'm sticking to my prediction Trump wins Georgia by 2.5%, Voter ID is / was a game changer. More swing states should adopt it. It makes it VERY difficult to cheat even with absentee / mail in ballots.
