I've been waiting for this since I was fortunate enough to meet Celtic, Life, Major and Lance in Atlanta 2 years ago! I'll be in Athens tonight and hopefully we'll find some good food and get to watch the Dawgs whip the Dogs on Saturday ❤️

East campus lot off River road game day parking issues

Parking there since moved for construction at my prior lot. Last week arrived an hour before kickoff and there was NO parking. All grass, parallel parking both sides of road at exit and parking spots full. Circled around and guy working at entrance moved his car up in media lot which was also full for me to park in. He told me frat houses have a green paper parking permit that he suspected they were passing out to friends and family. That lot shares entrance/ exit with the river road frat houses. Spoke a few times to athletic office they claim they are looking into problems at lot but it was an issue last year but getting worse. Anyone else park there? Anyone know anything re the green frat passes? One guy at parking office for campus said he thought they were M-F only. If that true then it’s an easy fix. Even though athletic dept controlled lots they don’t really control them it’s some other dept they just collect the money. I feel like if I can’t find the problem and tell them a fix it will not be resolved. Everyone saying it’s not their responsibility. I drive up from Florida for games and can’t get there to my lot and have no parking. If anyone has info re above please reply. Especially info re the Green paper frat parking passes.

Y'all enjoy wearing pants tonight......I'm out.

For years I have struggled with these restricting garments just for the sake of propriety. No longer. If you want to waist your life away being restricted ...fine go ahead. It's time for the powers that be to step and ban pants. Kilts all the way for me now. UGA has a tartan I can wear for Gameday.

Maybe later in the evening I will switch over to a nice Mumu or a housecoat. But that's it. If you enjoy pants that's fine. But I wont tolerate the confinement anymore.

I'm Done.

Why are we not better at forcing turnovers?...

Since Kirby arrived, we have been below average overall nationally at forcing turnovers, especially considering we perennially have one of the best defenses in the entire country:

2016- 27 forced turnovers (in 13 games)
2017- 20 (15 games)
2018- 17 (14 games)
2019- 16 (14 games)
2020- 13 (10 games- Covid)
2021- 21 (15 games)
2022- 19 (15 games)
2023- 17 (14 games)
2024- 4 (5 games so far)

Kirby's first year in 2016 was our high water mark by far at 2.1 turnovers forced per game. Since then we've never been above 1.4. It just doesn't make sense to me why this is, considering the absurdly talented personnel we typically trot out there compared to other defenses. Maybe it's something in our coaching or defensive philosophy, I don't know. It just jumped out to me again this past Saturday when Auburn, which had been turning the ball over at a truly heroic rate before playing us (15 turnovers lost in their first 5 games!), of course had zero turnovers playing in Sanford Stadium. Somebody make it make sense for me!

Catching Texas at Perfect Time

Feeling really good about catching Texas at the perfect time of the season. Think it sets up perfect for the good guys.

1. They will be ranked #1 or #2
2. Coming off physical game against their biggest rival
3. All their games so far were against some of the worst offenses in the nation (UT defense has not been tested at all)
4. See Offensive rankings below:

Oklahoma - #121
Michigan - #118
Colorado St - #99
Miss St - #79
UTSA - #65
