Maybe instead of whining about Kirby being honest about the crowd..

...we RESPOND with a raucous crowd vs Miss State and create a home field advantage and affects the game? 🤷 I'll be in Sanford raising holy hell. And on the other hand, Kirby could take a cue from Saban below and inspire that spirit. When he stirs up our fans, they've always answered the bell.

The friction over that comment yesterday is an opportunity to inspire and create some much-needed positive energy.

Memory lane and wrong narrative on Bama game

@athensdawg88 and I once had a discussions of our first memories of uga football. Unfortunately mine is the 94-96 seasons. I remember how inept we looked consistently. I remember being in the stands when Florida hung 55 on us in Athens. I remember going to games with my mom, one bucket of fried chicken, and being able to feed the entire section. We were terrible. 97 is the first season that fancy word hope found me.

That hope would pain me every year until 2021. Sadly, as one of the people who didn’t think Stetson could get it done, I didn’t enjoy that season as much as I should have until it was over.

2022 was the first season I “enjoyed”watching, because we were national Champions and every game didn’t depend on us winning our first natty of my life. It was a weird realization to come to. I spent my entire life loving uga football, but didn’t enjoy it until 2022….almost pathetic

I feel the Bama game narrative was wrong all week. Their defense is not good. We had 5 turnovers on the road at night, and had the lead with 2 minutes left. Sure we lost the game, but that team down 28 points didn’t blink and fought all the way back. Kirby adjusted quick, and bobo stuck with his plan with a struggling qb and didn’t lose faith. We have the heart of champions. That will matter throughout this season.

A lot of y’all need to quit crapping all over this team and enjoy it. We have a team good enough to win it all. This is still the greatest time ever to be a uga fan. We we are far removed from 94-96. We have the best program in college football, and the best head coach in America. I would implore you to enjoy it, as I am.

We beat our oldest rival by 18 after coming off a game we should have never lost. Instead of being miserable and thinking our coaches suck. Understand they are amazing at their jobs, and have brought more championships to uga than any other coach in our history.

Be loud at the games, make Athens a place or bell for our rivals and enjoy our ridiculous success and don’t be like spoiled Bama fans

Go dawgs!!

Tailgate Question...

So it's been a hot minute since I've tailgate with friends where we didn't have a parking pass at Tate Student Center but for Auburn game, we have a group going and they want to set up on North Campus, closer to the Arch/Downtown side.....

Question: where would best/closest parking be to haul all the shit we will have in tow & what time should we aim to get there to set up and get a spot?

More than one thing can be true at once….

For example, it is true that this team, particularly on the OL, is not as good as past Dawg teams. But it is also true that there is no dominant team this year. We have been dealing with a bunch of injuries and we have some young talent coming on. We will handle Miss State next week. Not persuaded that Texas has a legit defense. We should have Hall back by then. Mykel should be healthy. Luckie and Frazier are budding stars. I remain optimistic. Just need to improve each week.

Reactions: United Dawg

Woke up suddenly energized about this season...

We are lacking in a handful of areas no doubt. I remain concerned about the inconsistent and uncharacteristically sloppy play.

The longer a streak of success goes on, though, the harder it is to get players to respect and adhere to your DNA traits. "Assume Nothing" is the slogan this year - Kirby was already sensing this creeping into the team.

Bama wasn't a loss. It was as Saban described this morning - a thunderbolt. Any assumptions of continued success within the locker room have been destroyed and this is when Kirby is at his absolute best.

I'm not predicting any blowout or thrashing of Auburn. It may not even be impressive. But we will win, and we will recognize our DNA traits again today and we will be on a fresh new trajectory. We will look like a Kirby Smart football team today.
