Coach Bobo's unimaginative play calling, but the suggestions on here that Kirby travel to Nashville one day this week for a lunch and learn session with Clark Lea strike me as being over the top, and quite frankly, downright mean spirited. Thoughts?

We are lacking in a handful of areas no doubt. I remain concerned about the inconsistent and uncharacteristically sloppy play.

The longer a streak of success goes on, though, the harder it is to get players to respect and adhere to your DNA traits. "Assume Nothing" is the slogan this year - Kirby was already sensing this creeping into the team.

Bama wasn't a loss. It was as Saban described this morning - a thunderbolt. Any assumptions of continued success within the locker room have been destroyed and this is when Kirby is at his absolute best.

I'm not predicting any blowout or thrashing of Auburn. It may not even be impressive. But we will win, and we will recognize our DNA traits again today and we will be on a fresh new trajectory. We will look like a Kirby Smart football team today.

This is what good offenses do. When your team commits FIVE TOs ( 4 INTs ) in the previous game then a normal response is for an OC to call a conservative game in hopes the offense can regain confidence and a winning mindset.

I question the offensive players communication and focus on playing fundamentally sound physical football.

Also, Georgia really misses an elite pass catcher. Maybe the terrible decision by Travis Hunter is part of what’s missing on offense?

Over all, a very good win against AuBarn. That’s eight ( consecutive ) wins for the past 10 games.

At this point in the season, we’re a good, but not great, football team that intimidates opponents. Georgia is not physical enough, nor consistent enough, esp on offense.

Driving me nuts seeing ESPN keeping Alabama above us in all of their “rankings” this morning due to H2H. It literally makes these other games meaningless, so you practically don’t get penalized at all for a horrible loss. To me that should be much more destructive than our close loss to them on the road.

Human nature dictates how people react. The stands are generally filled with mouth-breathers. A disproportionately higher amount. You're surrounded by a lack of football knowledge. People react to shiny things. And the product is matted beige.

When can we expect the annual Auburn Fans open letter to UGA fans telling a us how bad we treated Auburn fans and they now have ptsd from being spit on and barked at?

#1, #4, #9, #10, #11 all go down, and #8 had a near humiliating experience.
