UK turned the ball over a bunch vs SC & it is possible they may have taken them for granted with us coming up the following week.
In either case, I think UK is actually better than we had anticipated. While we did not play well ourselves on O vs them, they might be good enough to hold their own throughout the league schedule this year.
Does the Ole Miss game against them change your overreaction about our offense now? Ole Miss may very well blown them apart in the 4th quarter but it makes you wonder if they aren’t as bad as many think.
These games are decided on a handful of plays. That 2nd down pass by BVG barely tipped. There was tons of running room. Now a sack and punt. Throw that decision by Lane to go on 4th down. If they punt, Kentucky is probably leading right now.
Good Saturday morning my GMDN family and friends from my temporary outpost in very old St. Augustine, Fl. We had planned to overnight in Valdosta but our big ole Hurricane shut her down along with a major portion of north Florida. After spending twenty minutes in a room with zero electricity and knowing it would be upwards of 80 degrees we made a command decision to vacate and move further south. It’s a sweet 67 degrees in my temporary digs this morning and all the troops to include ole Booker are far happier.
Prayers for all the folks impacted by the storm. I-75 and I-10 were a mess.
Short drive this AM to our vacation spot near Melbourne. Planning to eat lunch and watch a launch near Kennedy Space Center before checking in.
