Clemson win compared to FSU bowl win….

Do any of you worry that our win Saturday mirrors the FSU win last year? Considering Clemson’s stance on not using the portal and FSU depleted of its top players in the bowl game. A major program that doesn’t use the portal, in this current weird era of college football we are in = boys playing against men. I hate Clemscum as much as the next Dawg and always love to beat them. But I wonder how much stock we can put in dominating a program that has been left behind by not adapting is good in name only?

Culture..

I forgot to mention this in my post on Saturday after the game but one of my biggest takeaways from being there is not only are we incredibly talented but we have by far the best culture of any program in the country.

Watching the way our guys play together, play for each other and celebrate each other is absolutely awesome. Just go look at how the sideline reacted to Humphreys or Cash’s TDs. The whole game the sideline was engaged and cheering each other on. When there was a TV timeout the whole offense or whole defense would go on the field together. Even someone like Etienne was the first one on the sideline by all the RBs after they came off of the field. Just totally locked in and focused.

It is really fun to watch and you have to give full credit to Kirby, Coach Sinclair and the leaders on this team for truly setting and believing in ‘the standard’.

NSIAP - favorite UGA stat I have seen this season

Saturday was Clemson’s worst defeat since 2013 against Florida State. It was the Seventh time since 2021 that Georgia has beaten an AP-ranked opponent by 30-plus points. That’s more in less than four seasons than the total of six such wins that Georgia had from the start of the poll in 1936 through 2020.
