RFK Jr - Damning assertion on Biden Administration

Sheesh

Would like to see more on this.
WTF is this guy talking about. This guy lies more and more every day.

1) why would a celebrity lawyer have access to this information?
2) in no way did Biden declare “my goal is regime change in Russia”. Lol. That’s so stupid. How exactly would you get regime change from a nuclear-armed dictator? It’s not possible for us to cause that.
3) if he did state that his goal was to wear down the Russian military, that’s great. And it also worked. Kudos to Joe.

Trump just flat wrong with his nonsense about Ukraine

There are only a few ways wars end. The aggressor could get bored and fed up with the loses and walk away. The USSR did this in Afghanistan but only after 10 yrs of fighting for something much less than the interest they have in the Ukraine. I don't think there is an appetite for funding a 10 yr war in hopes Russia will walk away.

There is total war with a total victory that results in surrender. I don't think anyone desires that type of war with a nuclear power. Then there is a negotiated settlement.

It is absolutely in the best interest of the U.S. for this thing to be settled diplomatically as soon as possible and get to work rebuilding the Ukrainian economy. Yeah, Putin is a tyrant and regime change would be wonderful but you'd better be damn willing to pay the cost of executing the massive offenses it would take to chase him out of power. The fact that Putin is the devil just means you have to deal with that devil if you can't kill him.
If it weren't for the fact that we cozied up with Putin and spouted Russian rhetoric, I would consider agreeing with this approach. The issue is that we have actively taken on the responsibility to end the war. In doing so, we have neglected major allies who likely have a vested interest in pursuing the same goal. This misconception—that we will "win" negotiations and that violence is the only means by which we can effect change—is far-fetched.

Negotiation is great, but why have we seemingly lost our identity and fidelity in achieving it?

Trump just flat wrong with his nonsense about Ukraine

I personally think Trump is wrong on his dealings with the Ukraine so far ( an enemy of my enemy is my friend ). With that said the Democratic Party is in the worst shape it has been in years with approvals below 30%. They just can't keep supporting illegal immigration, men in women's sports, teaching gender identity in grammar school, etc. that flies in the face of an overwhelming majority of voters of both parties.
Respectfully, I have no interest in debating personal feelings about any of that. My issue right now is our approach to dealing with our allies and Russia, as well as the blind cuts we are making with little to no factual basis for improvement. The only thing I will say is that I wholeheartedly agree with you on the lost identity of the Democratic Party.

Trump taking a hit in polls released this morning

People benefitting and/or receiving free $ from the tax payers are not happy thinking it might be going away, of course the ones against protecting our borders and sending illegals out of the country are upset as usual, and obviously the Hamas lovers are not happy…these people will protest and be against Trump until he is out and things get back to the Obama and Biden regimes.
MAGA!
They may certainly get a President elected in 2028, but the Democrats are in dismal shape in the Senate and House for 2026 ,and if they can't reign in the progressives it will only get worse for them.

Trump taking a hit in polls released this morning

Interesting polls out this morning ( considerable differences depending on which polls you look at )
Trump down from a high last week of 49-54% approval to 43-46% approval
Musk at 45% approval down from around 50% ( people concerned he has too much power)
DOGE work as a whole still running about 50% approval
Congress as whole at 29% approval up from 21%--hard to figure with both political parties dropping in approval
Republican Party at 44% approval down from around 52%
Democratic Party at 28% approval down from 31% last week

This is likely because he realized that no negotiation could plausibly impact the American people and our allies without further strengthening a power-hungry Russia. Any legitimate Republican would be turning over in their grave if they saw the state of the Party in 2025.

But please you let me know about the inner workings of international politics because you obviously have experience and know what you're talking about right?

“You should have never started it “

Zinger, I think that when a Republican congressman from Nebraska is directly calling out a Republican POTUS for being a lying propagandist for Russia, its safe to say we have a problem that exceeds partisan disagreement.

Do you recall in your life ever seeing something like this?

You mean ben sasse? He's a clown. Guess he brought the swamp mentality to gainesville. He resigned.
In his 17-month stint as UF president, Ben Sasse more than tripled his office’s spending, directing millions in university funds into secretive consulting contracts and high-paying positions for his GOP allies.
Sasse ballooned spending under the president’s office to $17.3 million in his first year in office — up from $5.6 million in former UF President Kent Fuchs’ last year, according to publicly available administrative budget data.

A majority of the spending surge was driven by lucrative contracts with big-name consulting firms and high-salaried, remote positions for Sasse’s former U.S. Senate staff and Republican officials.

Sasse’s consulting contracts have been kept largely under wraps, leaving the public in the dark about what the contracted firms did to earn their fees. The university also declined to clarify specific duties carried out by Sasse’s ex-Senate staff, several of whom were salaried as presidential advisers.

Watching Bama lose last night...

pretty handily to a team one year removed from a 0-18 record while themselves being an overwhelming preseason national favorite is a nice reminder of how hard consistent success is to find in the current college landscape.

I like the "freezing point" metaphor CFB pundit Josh Pate brings up from time to time. Your program could be sitting at 33° and you not realize it because the results just aren't visible yet.

Gives me hope that we're ultimately not as far off from where we want to get as a program as the results have shown recently.
