Presidential pardon is a power that is unique to them. I can se a lot to dislike about it.
Did you like when Trump pardoned convicts who were in his inner circle or donors last time he was Pres.? I did not.
It’s a power that is being completely abused by President’s of both parties. Biden pardoning his own son is outrageous. But pardoning people who give you money is also outrageous. Since the power will not go away, all we can do is publicize and shame those outrageous pardons.
We’ll see what Trump does with the hundreds of concurs who attacked the police on 1/6.
