I don’t view this as argumentative. Not trying to be argumentative, but what are some examples of good "centrist" members of Congress?
While I don’t like their sports teams, UF is a phenomenal school that has gotten almost everything right these last few years. If they reject this guy due to his answers about DEI, I support that.I'm happy this happened, but also shocked it happened.
An incredible feat for Florida. And a defeat for Gator trustees. Win-win.
Just keep making things up. China mines almost 70% of the world's rare earths and we are dependent on them. US manufacturers are warning about severe supply chain shortages. Truth Social is not a good source of the real truth. We're not getting them from China. We're getting them from our own country, Africa and Ukraine.
Not trying to be argumentative, but what are some examples of good "centrist" members of Congress?Congress is nuts, particularly the House, but that’s a result of gerrymandering. Each party is carving up districts to cement control. When you do that, you get candidates in the extremes because they don’t face a centrist challenger, yet the voting base is centrist themselves.
The judiciary is tough. There are many types of courts. In general, Democrat judges try to legislate from the bench, and Republicans stay strict.
1) “affecting”We live on top of a hill here in ky with a beautiful view but it's dangerous to cut with a zero turn and a tractor cant get traction at all on hills and is even more dangerous. I opted to buy a Bradley stand on.
I called around and tried to find a deal on a new one and like most mowers after 2020 they rarely go on sale and when they do they are barely on sale. Well this is a $6k mower and I found a place in NC selling them for $400 off sticker which is really hard to find. I called Bradley corporate because I wanted a 52 inch but the only one I could find was the 48 inch that was on sale. Bradley corporate told me we had our biggest spring in the history of the company we sold out of all 52 inch decks early spring and no idea when or if we will get any more because of the tariffs. I said "wow, so the 48s which are in inventory may sell out now and then we wont know when we can get any of those" and the guy was like "yes thats correct, we just dont know anything right now". I called the dealer in NC, I put a non refundable $500 deposit on the 48 inch and said I would pick it up in a few weeks.
Day before yesterday I picked up the mower, drove my truck and trailer 6hrs one way to pick it up. When I got there the salesperson took me to where it was being stored before I paid the balance in full and said "you are lucky you bought it when you did, thats a $7k mower now, price has gone up almost $1k due to tariffs. I was in shock but extremely thankful.
Mind you Bradley is an American company, the engine is Brigs and Stratton which is an American company out of Wisconsin. Problem is some of the parts of the engine are made in China.
So, glad I pulled the trigger when I did because I wouldn't have the mower if I didnt and if they had one available it would have cost me another $1400.
Trumps tariffs, and the uncertainty around if/when any of them will stay, creates uncertainty in the job market. Business owners and investors crave stability and predictability. When you intentionally create instability, people are not going to be hiring as rapidly.Just so much winning.
