2 Parking Passes in Sideline Lot for GA-FL. Side by Side spots (SOLD)

I have 2 parking passes in the Tailgaters Sidelines Lot for the Cocktail Party. These spots are side by side so you can park in one and set up your tailgate in the other or you can park 2 vehicles by each other.
Have bought these 2 passes for the last 3 yrs, but we aren't going to be able to make it this year. Great tailgating spot with lively crowd and port-a-jons on site, quick easy walk to the stadium. These are the actual hanging passes that you hang from your rearview mirror, so we will have to meet or I can mail the passes to you with tracking. Asking $240 for both - just what I paid for them. Message me if you are interested.

Not weird at all…

Beck Turning It Around

So, hearing multiple national personalities saying Beck has lost millions of dollars the last few weeks with his awful performances.

I kind of feel bad for the kid since I think half of this is on our wide receivers doing a lot better job and our LT not being solid.

So here is what I'm hearing. He is not trustworthy with the ball and makes poor decisions. Also, hearing that he is now a 3rd to 5th round pick vs. a day 1 pick.

Ooof that is some major criticism.

How does a guy regress this much in 1 year?

- Happy feet - many people have mentioned it but he is not getting his feet set this year and this is causing poor accuracy. This MUST be fixed. you cannot throw off your back foot.
- Looking down his primary receiver. This is probably the cause of half of his interceptions this year. He just stares guys down and the word is out on him to watch his eyes. In the pros the players are even better at reading qbs eyes so he MUST fix this.
- Getting on the same page with wide receivers. Just does not have the confidence in any of our guys. This takes practice reps. Just more reps with the primary wrs.
- Too quick to go check down to the back out in the flat. This kind of goes along with the happy feet.

So not sure if it is Coley or Bobo who is doing the coaching but he looked like he was getting right and then this game happened. Granted Texas has a good defense with NFL guys on it.

I think Beck can improve his draft stock back up to the top of the 2nd round with some great performances in the next few games and a run in the playoffs. I believe he is better than what some national media types are saying. Here's what needs to happen and if it does it may be the difference in us winning it all.

- 3 step drop, set feet, first read, 2nd read throw or 3rd read if pocket is good and then throw.
- Maybe 3 or 4 designed runs
- Getting play action back with a better running game would help
- Better tackle play will help
- Throw the ball away or run if everyone is covered
- Wide receivers get open
- Wide receivers catch the dang ball
- Wide receivers make some contested catches.

SEC Championship Tiebreaker Potential

Tiebreaker rules are below. Assuming the following, it appears opponents' conference winning percentage would likely be the deciding factor.
We win out - 7-1
Texas wins out - 7-1
A & M beats LSU but wins out other than Texas - 7-1
LSU loses to A & M and then wins out - 7-1

Tiebreaker rules below:
  1. Head-to-head competition among the tied teams if all tied teams played each other or 1 team beat or lost to all tied teams. (None)
  2. Record versus all common Conference opponents among the tied teams. (All undefeated against common conference opponents.)
  3. Record against highest (best) placed common Conference opponent in the Conference standings, and proceeding through the Conference standings among the tied teams. (All undefeated against common conference opponents.)
  4. Cumulative Conference winning percentage of all Conference opponents among the tied teams. (Note, if 1 team wins here, you revert to rule 1 for the remaining 3 but you likely come back here under the scenario above.)
  5. Capped relative total scoring margin versus all Conference opponents among the tied teams. (While still not likely, there is a real possibility this comes into play year 1.)
  6. Random draw of the tied teams

Kirby's Kryptonite is an elite dual threat QB

It's obvious, of course, but people actually place too much emphasis on it being all about one team in Tuscaloosa. It's been Bama because that team had a defense to counter Kirby's plus a QB who could jam the works of the UGA defense machine, which is careful, complex assignment football. It worked on Saban, too. A running QB, if he can throw enough to be credible, gives this defense fits. Pssst: it basically gives EVERY defense fits. We really need a guy with foot talent going forward.

Texas had none, and it paid the price. The good news is, the closest thing to a legit DTQB left on the schedule is... Haynes King, GT. Lagway of UF, Dart of Ole Miss (who ran for 20 against UGA last season), and Tennessee's IamOvathrowya all average around 3.0 YPC, though a few sacks are figured in.. These guys can run, but they're not in the league with what Bama has had. Yet the weakest team, Georgia Tech, gave Kirby's D fits because Haynes King, even without much of an arm, couldn't be contained.

To me, this can't be overstated. The front seven gave a performance for the ages in Austin, and with Ewers not being a runner, Texas lost its air of dominance completely. None of this is to say UGA can cruise from here on out. It has to bring that same intensity and preparation every week. The BYE is great in its timing. UF is improving, and it's helpful they looked good enough against UK that they can't slip up on us or catch UGA still celebrating.

One other point. People have ragged on our offense to be more exciting. Don't be predictable. Don't run up the middle. Throw the damn ball. Well, be careful what you wishfor. Beginning with Bama, Bobo took your advice to heart. This has been a pass-heavy defense ever since--to a fault against Texas, actually--and this seems to upset Beck's stomach. You would think it would allow him to get into rhythm, but neither he nor the receivers have responded well. His body language isn't good when he misses, and he finds it hard to regain his confidence. Or so it appears.

Against Mississippi State, the pass-first approach did just what Kirby has always hated: it failed to protect the defense, which was gassed at the end. We're not able to pound the ball in the fourth quarter. It wasn't a problem in Austin, because the D picked itself up instead of waiting for the O to do it. It gave us the ball with a short field over and over and got us a lead early to take Sark's creativity out of the equation. This set up our pass rushers to hunt.

I like an aggressive, pass-attack O too. Who doesn't? There's no reason we have to throw eight picks off it, no reason for all the drops. But you can see that Kirby's obsession with ball-control football isn't stubbornness. It's based on what works for the kind of team he builds. What's happening is, he's adjusting to how the game has changed.

The drops? Don't overthink these. It ain't coaching. These guys all know how to catch a football. Follow this sport long enough and you'll see drops spread through a receiver corps like a bad cold. One guy drops one, other guys find themselves thinking, "Don't drop it!" and doing it, too. I expect this problem will change with the weather.

The best football is ahead for this team. If the players can stay away from their sportscars and women and keep their focus, they'll be favored all the way to the final championship game.

Since the bottle incident involved the Refs, could... or should... the NCAA make some statement independent of the SEC?

What I'm comparing this to is the Oregon-Ohio State 12 man penalty. It was the NCAA that earlier this year made a statement on that incident and literally changed the rule mid-season. That was independent of any involvement the Big 10 had in it.

So just wondering if because of the fact that this was an unprecedented officiating issue if the NCAA should address it?

And I'm not referring to or implying that the NCAA should be involved in any reprimand/punishment towards the officials.

I'm just wondering if the NCAA will issue some clarification or procedure change going forward to address such issues and try and prevent it from happening again like they did after the Oregon-Ohio State game.

NonDawg Stadium atmosphere at Falcons games / beating a dead horse

I was at the Falcons game on Sunday and even though the game got away from us in the 2nd half, I want to comment on the stadium atmosphere.

First off, being a Falcons fan I will be the first to say our fanbase is fair weather. With the Falcons having the first decent start to the season in a long time, there is obviously increased interest and energy in the stadium that hasn't been there in recent years.

From an atmosphere standpoint, the stadium production is awesome. Excellent song choice featuring artists from Atlanta and Georgia, there were no dead moments. Every song brought energy and the fans responded to it. There wasn't a single time where I thought "why are they playing this song right now." It was a great time. They also have clips from celebrities like Samuel L. Jackson, Mike Vick, Goldberg, T.I., Lil Jon, etc. to play during TV timeouts or in between plays.

I know it is the NFL and a different fan base, but the stadium production team at Georgia could learn a thing or two about how to build an atmosphere from the Falcons. There should be crazy energy at Georgia home games. Just my opinion.
