YOU ARE

EITHER ELITE OR YOU ARE NOT. That’s it, that is the bottom line for the last 3 games at home. Do you let the past dictate your future, do you let the failures that have happened, continue? The game yesterday was that compilation of every single fault that we have combined into one gigantic mess. College football is different now, every single team has that chance, every single wants your head when you step on that field on Saturdays. This team is discombobulated from Coaching to players to confidence to hell even us fans, but even still the goal is somehow(12 team playoff) actually still there. Saturday against Tennessee at night in Sanford all of our questions will be answered, does this team WANT IT or will it hide in its shell and show no confidence like our play calling and Quarterback are. I believe it is there, hell we’ve seen it. This schedule has been brutal, tbh not many teams in the top 12 are 7-2 with the road games we’ve had to play so far. This is the golden age though, we have Kirby Smart and that right there should always no matter what give you hope. Be upset, be pissed, fire them all even the ball boys. But come Saturday suck it up get loud and be ready to turn Sanford upside down and F*CK UP THE VOLS. I personally believe we win out and get us a home game in the playoffs, fun stuff right?

So I woke up this morning and just sort of hit me

So I woke up this morning and just sort of hit me that we were just a worn out football team.
Auburn did not go on the road until October 2. Alabama has played at Wisconsin who sucks at Vanderbilt at Tennessee where they lost.
Texas was given the softest entry into a major conference I’ve ever seen
at a shitty Michigan and then they went on the road again five weeks later to Vanderbilt. With the exception of a neutral site game they played their almost the entire first 2/3 of the season at home didn’t matter we still hammered them
Ole Miss went to Wake Forest September 14 and then at South Carolina and at LSu . South Carolina deserved the win there and LSU did beat them. Missouri did not go on the road until they went to Texas A&M October 5. Tennessee went to NC State Oklahoma and Arkansas where they lost but been home almost a month now. The only road games Texas A&M have played was at Florida One neutral site and at Mississippi State and that South Carolina where they lost.
we played a brutal schedule and it was also all on the road. Sent us to Alabama at night sent us to Texas at night send us to Ole Miss at night play Clemson and Florida away. We at least get to finish out at home and then hopefully miss the SEC championship game because why because F them that’s why.
whoever signed off on the schedule needs a solid kick in the ass. It’s disgraceful. We were flat worn out last night
what they did to us last night this season was wrong. And we’re good enough to of taken most of it.
we were worn out will be OK I will laugh especially hard now if we win the national championship while missing the SEC game. Don’t give up coming- home will do us a world of good beat Tennessee and all our goals are in sight.
Circle the wagons.

Lurk’s petty thoughts

Lots to digest from yesterday, none of it good. Instead of focusing on our MIA “eliteness” I have a few fringe thoughts..

1) storming the field before the game is over should be instant forfeit.
2) based on inflation, the financial penalty should be $1mil minimum, pulled straight from the offending school’s NIL and sent to opposing school’s NIL.
3) the smoke on the field in the 4th should’ve been a delay of game penalty for every 25 seconds it remained.
4) does anyone have stats on how frequently offensive holding is called? Feels like it’s dropped off in recent years.
5) I saw it mentioned that lane took his foot off the gas late… didn’t feel like it.

Tennessee!!!

I hope The DAWGS have licked their wounds & know their SEASON is on The Line Saturday & Nick & His Boys at ESPN will be here to see the potential downfall of program that #47 told Nicky of Bama's hold on SEC was replaced! We shall see if DAWG FANS show up to support The DAWGS who need all they can get instead of Fans jumping ship & forgetting all The Joy these DAWGS have given them. GO DAWGS

By the numbers yard per play

The last three yrs (21-23)- UGA was 2nd or 4th in yards per play - avg roughly 6.9-7.1

This year - 50th - 5.8……but wait….the last 3 games - 4.6 (at that avg we are at 122nd ranked) and the last game 3.8 which could be worst game in cks history….gotta check the archives….for comparison - that shitty game in 2019 vs USCe - UGA was 4.92 yards per play….

I know let’s blame BoBo for this

Stacy S. He sucks!

71. 53. 69. 55. Bench them all or fire the position Coach. These players aren even trying. They aren’t coached or prepared.

And Kirby ain’t past blame for this.

Get your 💩 together players and coaches this is an utter embarrassment

Period

“We need to throw the ball vertically “ bunch of goons.
Tom Brady and Patrick mahommes would be rendered useless.

Wonder why longest run was 8 yards.

Herschel in his prime would be useless

Bobo isn’t the OL coach.

This team sucks

Not an excuse, but maybe reality

I’ve been frustrated with the play, especially on offense. But when the 2024 schedule came out, I said yikes, 10-2 is probably the ceiling. Not just the opponents, but the amount of them on the road to include Atlanta and Jacksonville.

Only Florida probably has an argument for a schedule just as tough. It’s hard to do that every week and be away from your home and bed. We’ve played what? Three true home games so far in 11 weeks?

Not to mention, numerous key starters with injuries. All SEC guys. Our emerging 3rd down receiver taken out with legal troubles. Etc etc.

I’ve done six month deployments, the physical and mental struggle is real. We looked slower yesterday than normal and the grind caught up.

And here we are, in a good position to finish 10-2. Call it an excuse, but I feel it’s a real contributor. Go Dawgs!

Flame away

Biggest disappointments

Delp has to be one of the most disappointing players on a team FULL of disappointments this season.

The my list for most disappointing players this season are Carson (obviously), Starks, Delp, Mykel, Greene (really the entire OL is shit), & CJ Allen/Raylen Wilson.

Starks has regressed more than anyone on the team. He went from very promising star & one of the top players, to a clueless freshman over the offseason. He's simply not good this season.

Delp seems to have been passed by Yurosek on the depth chart... that's all that needs to be said as to just how shitty Delp has been.

Mykel is allegedly a 1st round lock & a stud who has the uncanny ability to literally disappear for multiple games & make people forget he actually plays football. Then after the game you'll read that he played tons of snaps & realize you don't even remember seeing him on the field.

Greene is an absolute abortion at OT. He really does get worse each week.... but so does the rest of the OL. Searels is simply proving once again that's he's a f-ing garbage OL coach like I've been trying to tell you people since he was hired.

CJ Allen & Raylen were super recruits who showed so much promise last season. They haven't progressed at all from last season. We are in desperate need of quality ILB play & these guys haven't stepped up. They've made no progress. CJ had a nice INT last week but that's about it.

It's truly sad that every facet of this team has regressed from last season. I think TID & Dan Jackson may be only players who are better this season than last season.

The lack of coaching & development across the board is very very very troubling to me.
