And you cant just redefine legality for your arguments sake. They are here legally. You can question the legal premise they are here on, but you cannot conflate them with illegal aliens who have knowingly committed a crime. Maybe the legal premise is wrong, but their moral conduct is not...and that is a huge distinction that should be made.
You know what I find interesting - is that neither of you two have mentioned the Americans that live there at all. Why should any American town have to deal with this? Why is this happening? Why do they have to pay for this?

The same thing would happen to the infrastructure issues if 20k south Georgia farmers moved there. That's a Springfield issue. Maybe if trump got off his ass and wasn't playing golf half the time, an infrastructure plan could've been passed and Springfield would be better off. Ever think of that?

Fun fact, I live in Ohio about an hour from Springfield. I'd never heard mention of this "immigration crisis" until this election cycle.
By and large the citizens and businesses of Springfield appreciate the immigrants and aren't to fond of their portrayal in the media.
Certainly there are issues and driving is a chief concern. But they are giving more than they are taking and the racist retorts from the ignorant scum across the country are reprehensible.
FYI, DeWine is doing a remarkable job here, on this issue and many others. He is the old school type Republican that I identify with.
Also...it sounds to me that there were jobs to be had in Springfield, we may have a lazy population there who thinks those jobs are beneath them, and now they are complaining "illegals" came and took the jobs they thought were beneath them.

So is that five citizens raising hell at City Council meetings? Ten? Fifty? Do you know that those people represent the opinions of the majority of citizens in Springfield, and if so how do you know that?
Or maybe, as is the case in so many instances these days, the people raising hell at these City Council meetings are a very loud minority of people who like to whine about and blame others for their circumstances instead of taking ownership themselves.
I'd keep one, maybe two and send the rest back if I had to provide food, shelter, clothing, medical insurance and cash for running around money. At my age, I'm not sure I could handle one but would be willing to give it a shot. 10K fugetaboutit.

I’m old enough to remember when Obama was against gay marriage, killed innocent people w drones and deported more people than any other president. Thst was 2012.
Unfortunately Our leaders don’t care about that. Unchecked illegal immigration is great ! Just ask England , Ireland, Scotland, France , Germany and the Netherlands how it’s going. They are rioting in the streets over there .

Of all the talk of the sufferings of Haitians in America because of supposed political accusations of eating pets....I would much rather be a Haitian in the USA, than a yankee doodle dandy (or Haitian)in Haiti right now,.. being accused of eating a cat is much better than being slaughtered in the streets of Haiti while venturing out to gain food/water,...the Haitians must be amused at such a declaration of victimhood in the USA because of the news story when they came from such a destitute place in which they had real suffering that didn't matter to anyone until they became a political story in an election year

Why should the legal Haitians be removed from Springfield? Seriously why? By just living in Springfield, what laws are they breaking that would require them to be removed? I'm intrigued at the thought process.
