Call me crazy but we shouldn’t import people from a satanic island state.
Ok. I don’t remember ever seeing a case of these Haitian satanists committing satanic crimes such as abusing kids for example, but I guess like the accusations of eating pets, anything is possible.

Now, there are many thousands of documented cases of children being abused by trusted adults who had access to the children through their church affiliation. If we are worried about satanists, seems we might be looking in the wrong place.

Here’s a small sample from the last week.

@willdup is frothing at the mouth for you and your families replacement.

He’s best ignored.

I just did in the article above. It explains everything. They are here legally since 2023, 210000 of them. Still unbelievably short sighted and stupid of this admin to grant them amnesty while other AMERICANS are struggling. Which is why the economy approval rating was so low. Why don’t we make it worse? That is what they did. It is ignorsnt. Politically driven. And stupid beyond belief. Them being legal makes it worse imo.(temporarily amnesty)
It is the same crap. Deflect, deflect, deflect. We know 10 to 20 million have come illegally( or under the new Biden Harris terms) which is still a crock. The question is not legality as much as if it is right or wrong.
The left can take away the filibuster and pack the court and it might be legal but that does not make it right and best for our country and the people. Whether they are legal or not is not the biggest problem it is they were bused in without any proper process to provide for everyone’s safety. Just like the border states with what amounts to refugee encampments that cause tremendous strain on local and state resources.

Will you should know by now non-melanin sex offenders and degernates get a pass from MAGA...they would rather concentrate all their time and energy on fictitious bigoted stories about minorities.

The fact that MAGA is still talking about this fake story is incredible. Do you guys realize how many people of Haitian descent live in South Florida? Trump's currently strategy is clearly to try and scare white people as much as possible and not realizing these attacks are turning off those black voters that's were "supposedly" swing towards Trump. Just incredible.

I'll be honest before Harris was the nominee I really did think there was a chance for Trump to get 15% - 20% of the black vote but he's just lost his mind since she became the nominee. "What do you have to lose" ain't going to cut it when your actions are openly bigoted.

Yep. I don’t like the op’s comment in the thread. The congressman. He could have easily put it a different way. It is a layup. But I get it. Until someone on the left can give me a legitimate reason we gave 210000 Haitians temporary asylum here. When the economy was shit and his admin was getting blistered because of it. I would rather it go to Americans. I had a teacher come in and need me to hold a check ten minutes ago. She has never asked me to do that. I am happy to do it for her because she is working hard just to get by. Doing something to help move the country forward. The nicest African American lady you will ever meet.

Instead we gave 600 million(estimated 30000 apiece was given to each of them)or more to give Haitians asylum because their country is struggling. How should any American feel about that. Good lord. They will never answer why, because they know the answer is only political. So they all hide behind the race card.

Ten percent of the asylum seekers settled in Springfield. An already booming small city economy prior to this. Why not just give that town 60 million and see what happens to their economy instead.

Talk about deflection.

I guess given your and zinger’s concerns about immigration (legal and illegal), if Trump’s lies and Higgin’s overt racism are what’s needed to bring attention to the issue, so be it. That is what Vance said, after all, at least regarding the need to make news stories.

There is no doubt that some of the stupid shit Trump says is done intentionally to grab attention, sometimes towards a specific issue that is a winner for him. There are other times he just says dumb shit. Honestly believe the left / media plays right into his hands here.

As I mentioned in another post, the strategy of insulting the intelligence of anyone who would even consider voting for Trump is a proven loser (2016).

The left would be better served pointing out the dumb shit but then pivoting to legit policy answers. When they go way over the top with the criticism over and over again, the criticism starts to feel like it extends to anyone who might consider voting for him. And 9 times out of 10, the criticism involves style. Not substance. And this country is tired of that shit. Substance and answers are needed for real problems.

Like it or not, Trump's biggest asset is that he doesn't really have to defend an economic plan. He can simply ask whether or not you were better off 4 years ago. And while there are good arguments that the pain folks are feeling aren't solely due to Biden / Harris, the fact remains that the burden is on her to define a real economic plan. All Trump has to do is say "i'll do exactly what I did in my first term."

Exactly. You didn’t give a good reason. There isn’t. There are enough people online saying this is true to at least bring it up. Regardless of it is true or not. You can talk about overt racism by claiming these things all you want. It still doesn’t answer the bigger and more important question. Why are the here? Why were we giving amnesty? When at the time the admin was still begging for money to go to the Ukraine at the time. We had border issues and you want to spend even more allowing more people in this country to drain the economy. For Christ sake, at that time New York and Chicago were begging for monetary help. There is literally no reason other than political ones.

Not just black people. Immigration is (and has been) a problem, but Trump's supporters will grab unto anything even if it is not proven to be true. I'm sure those responding here are oblivious to the Haitian community in South Florida, so I'll attach the following to help them:

Just how do you think Trump's deportation program is going to work?

No, that’s not what the GOP meant.
What they want is for us all to point out what color everybody is, first and foremost, all the time, because that’s the only thing that matters, The GOP wants us to engage in knee-jerk consequence-free proxy aggrievement on behalf of the ofcolor, then pat ourselves on the back for doing so.
No, wait, sorry, that’s what idiot liberals do.
Higgins said Haitians were nasty. He was a moron for doing that, but he didn’t seem to care about their race in his twitter tweet. As usual, a liberal is the one pointing out what color everyone is, as in this thread. You have Higgins out there in a sheet and hood burning crosses in yards. He’s a moron, but where’s the evidence he’s raciss?
“But can’t you see they’re black?”
Hell you’re the one that brought that up.
Tell us, OP. What race are the family of Haitian immigrants you’ve taken into your home to help their plight?
You seem quite passionate about this, so I’m sure you’ve done so.
I do not care about their race. Neither, apparently, does Congressman Higgins. You do though, don’t you?
Can you come down off your cross long enough to snap some pics with your Haitian guest family? We’d love to see how happy they are.
They can’t vote though.

i understand the point you are making, but I take a different view. You think the Harris campaign is mocking Trump voters, and I think they are trying to combat the sanewashing that the press often does after every deranged speech or comment. He says things that would disqualify any other candidate and it’s been dismissed as “Trump being Trump”. Harris is taking a different approach, calling the crazy what it is and I think it’s working.

People who are OK with “Trump being Trump” aren’t going to change their vote because of anything Harris says or does. Winning is about reaching the small number of undecideds and driving turnout. That’s it, and highlighting the absurdity of Trump does it. She’s opted out of playing by his rules.

And I disagree about the lack of requirement for Trump to explain and sell his plan. It’s a very different world and he is promoting very different policies than what he did when he inherited an economy that was trending in the right direction by every key measure. No free passes here, tariffs have downsides and he needs to address them. Of course, he can’t. See below.

You haven’t answered my original question, which was the point of this thread. I understand your concerns regarding immigration. I get the anger toward Biden. Fine. Does that make lying about Legal immigrants OK and does it make what Clay Higgins tweeted ok? It’s a fairly simple question. Either the ends justify the means or not.

And in the mean time, Trump gets more and more addled each day, as I predicted months ago. It’s clear you will never admit that Trump has issues with age and cognitive competence. Your vote isn’t in play, so it doesn’t matter. For the people whose vote is in play, or who need to be motivated to turn out, this stuff matters a lot.

Facts: none of us had heard a word about Haitian’s in Springfield until Trump amplified a LIE during a televised debate about black savages eating people’s pets.

Facts: JD Vance is a senator from the state in question and his first mention of Haitians was when he amplified the unfounded social media rumor about pet consumption about twenty four hours before the debate. His office called the city and was told there were no reports and no evidence of black savages eating pets and Trump went with the LIE anyway.

If it was such an awful problem for so long and so many people are unhappy, how did the Senator for OH, whose number one campaign issue is illegal immigration, fail to mention this huge problem even once before debate prep?

And on what do you base your assertion that “tensions have risen”? Because Trump and Vance say so? You aren’t hearing that from the mayor or the Republican governor.

You can try to Trumpsplain the situation all you want. It doesn’t wash the stink off.

And if there are any doubts remaining about how the GOP wants to use these dog whistles, just see Clay Higgin’s tweet.
Hey Will, in all seriousness and honesty. Do not lie. What do you do for a living? I just gotta know. Please be honest.

I want to address his brain. Again. I guess you didn’t read what I said before. So I will put it up front. I expect a 77 year old man to slow down or have some gaffe’s when speaking off the cuff as much as he does. Biden rarely spoke off the cuff. Still had 1000’s of gaffes. The comparison isn’t close. It is an awful and hypocritical strategy here as well. You guys were blind for four years and you want to take me to task when I am already recognizing it. This is just deflection here too. I think I have answered the brain questions. He does hours speaking daily. Not five minutes monthly like Biden or even camela. She has no excuse. At least it is because Trump is old.

You want to focus on the racist nature of the claims against Haitians. I don’t blame you. Because answering my question is way too hard. I think he could have worded it differently. I don’t like lies to bring attention to anything but Lordy you guys lie in every single ad. And every single word. Biden and Harris both. The project 2025 lie is horrendous. There is at least proof online that people are saying this. There is no proof of what your ads say.

There are people suffering in s ga, Florida, Tennessee and North Carolina. You think the 600 million given to the Haitians for no apparent reason, could be better served to help actual Americans suffering. Please feel free to answer that. I know you won’t.

Here is another question for you. How do you feel about border patrol releasing a damning stat about criminal illegals allowed into this country the day Kamala went down there. If that doesn’t tell you all you need to know, nothing ever will.

I love how MAGA suddenly becomes ultra generous with government funding to expand the social safety net to make the point funding needs to be shifted from minorities, immigrants and foreign aid...but when it comes time for MAGA to actually develop a budget there's only decreases in funding for the social safety net programs. It's almost as if MAGA is full of $***🤔

You would think if so many people were pissed off in Springfield that more of them would have shown up for this protest. Instead they are getting yelled at and mocked by regular citizens, none of whom feel the need to cover their faces.

And in the mean time, Trump had one of his worst showings yesterday. Each day, he gets a little worse.

Nobody know guns like Trump knows gun. That MK47 is a powerful weapon.

Still obsessing about crowd size. She is so living in his deteriorating brain.

Huh?

Excellent response regarding how he’s going to keep auto manufacturing in the US. He won MI man of the year (there is no such award and if there was, he didn’t win it).

Still obsessed with McDonalds.

I’m sure if he could get what’s in his brain out of his mouth, we would find it very insightful. He, they, he would have, she would have…

Latest update. Trump admitted what everyone who has ever worked for him already knows. He stiffs his workers. What a man of the people.

Even Biden is better than Kamala. The Biden now. That is how bad she is. You have been fooled and duped again. It is a broken record. She has no excuse for her idiocy. At least Trump and Biden are old. Not stupid.

You voted for this tard and you're voting for the stupid chick who lied to you for 4 years about him.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaketh.
here we go, folks that detest (at least will says he does) the Bible and God, trying to use the Bible to win an argument about illegal immigration, while simultaneously voting to support such anti Biblical things as baby murder and homosexuality is really really rich and might I say, as hypocritical as anything you might try to imply about the other guys.

Americans that love their country believe we should have borders and a regulated immigration system, not one of illegal immigrants being flown around the country in the middle of the night, by a party trying to rig the elections. If you don't believe that is what the open borders are for I feel sorry for you lack of brain power. The dim party does not care on lick about these people becoming anything other than slaves on the plantation of dim voters living off others hard work. Why do you and will think its just wonderful to bring in all these immigrants without vetting and finding out what kind of folks they are. What about the 500k convicted felons border czar kamala has let in and has no idea where they are. You feel good about that? If so, if they commit a crime here, murder or rape some innocent American citizen, I think you two should have to serve their punishment.

I'll gladly chip in to send them and any other kiddie diddler to Haiti. I don't think you'll find very many Trump supporters that will defend anyone that is a known child abuser but we're finding plenty of Dems that defend folks that don't do everything possible to keep child abusers and violent immigrants out of our country and even tolerate child trafficking. This really shouldn't be partisan.

Speaking of embarrassing, Trump said again just yesterday that climate change is a scam. He said this on a day that the devastation and death in western NC can’t be assessed because all of the roads are closed and first responders can’t even get to a number of communities and survivors. This from a hurricane that couldn’t be imagined because there hasn’t been one in recorded history to do anything like what Helene delivered.

His timing is impeccable. But as you’ve pointed out, he is a 78 year old so these things are to be expected. Man, just think what we’ll get in years two through four!

Yep. It will still be better than we got 1-4 under Biden and Kamala. No matter what state he is in.

This is your new Jan 6th line of posting. No economy stuff. Or border stuff. Just lies about Haitians and mis speaking. That is a strong ass platform you got there. But project 2025. Kamala is coming out soon to be pro life at this rate. You would believe that shit too.

You forgot to mention the markets setting new highs every week.

Illegal border crossings are down and would be even more so had Trump no scotched the border deal for his personal political gain.

Regarding the economy, it's not the nightmare story Trump wants it to be.

  • Real GDP Growth: The U.S. economy grew at an annual rate of 3.0% in the second quarter of 2024, a significant rebound from a slower pace earlier in the year, which saw a 1.4% increase in the first quarter
. This growth is attributed mainly to strong consumer spending and business investment, particularly in sectors like manufacturing and equipment
  • Revisions to Historical Data: Recent revisions have shown that economic growth from 2021 to 2023 was stronger than previously reported. Real Gross Domestic Income (GDI) also saw an upward revision, indicating a healthier economic recovery post-COVID
. The revised data suggest that real disposable personal income has increased more than initially thought, contributing to a higher saving rate.

Consumer Spending and Inflation
  • Consumer Spending: Forecasts predict consumer spending will rise by 2.4% in 2024, bolstered by increased disposable incomes and a recovering job market
. This is crucial as consumer spending drives a significant portion of U.S. economic activity.
  • Inflation Trends: Inflation has been on a downward trend, with the Consumer Price Index (CPI) falling below 3.0% in July and expected to decrease further to around 2.7% by the end of the year
. This decline in inflation is seen as a positive development, allowing for potential interest rate cuts by the Federal Reserve.
Employment and Labor Market
  • Unemployment Rate: The unemployment rate has risen to 4.3%, its highest level since October 2021. Despite this increase, labor market indicators suggest ongoing job creation, although at a slower pace compared to earlier in the year.
. Analysts remain optimistic that employment will continue to grow gradually.
  • Wage Growth: Wage growth is also expected to slow as inflation decreases, which may affect consumer spending patterns moving forward.
Future Outlook
  • The overall economic outlook remains positive, with projections for GDP growth of 2.7% in 2024 and continued expansion anticipated through 2025
Business investment is expected to remain strong, supported by government initiatives like the Inflation Reduction Act and investments in technology sectors.

I dare you to stop someone one the street and ask how the economy is doing. The markets don’t mean shit other than for the rich. And enough with the ai. It can find numbers to match any narrative. Make sure when they tell you to F off that you show them the ai numbers.

I simply referenced the standard KPIs used to measure economic health and trendlines.

I don't think "man on the street" economics are a thing and like everything else in our world today, the answer to your question would have a lot to do with which news sources the person being asked watches and who they are planning on voting for. When the guy that you trust (their mistake) tells you every day that we are an economic wasteland, you tend to believe him despite how often he lies, and his predictions fail to materialize.

It's exactly why so many republicans still believe the last election as stolen, and they are wrong about that as well.

Since it's so godawful out there, hit me with your numbers that back your argument. You must have something tangible and measurable to prove your point.

If you are actually interested in understanding the gap between perception and reality on the economy, this is an interesting read.

I see it every single day. People are robbing Peter to pay Paul. Making decisions just to eat. 100’s of people that were not doing that a few years ago. A lot of my friends sadly admit to being really hurt by this economy. Pride be damned. I would love to know who you are hanging around with if you are hearing none of this.

All I have is personal experience for most. Other than rent being unaffordable for most. Buying a home is unaffordable for most. Even Kamala says that in ads. Or is she lying to match your narrative about everything being ok.

How bout this. Without the help of ai

Five minutes to find this.

Summary for you:

1. Rent is unaffordable for more than half the country. First time in a really long time.

2. Country’s credit card debt higher than ever and continuing to rise daily. No end in sight.

3. Half of Americans can’t afford down payments on homes. Which is crazy because now the down payments have become reason so with fha and usda loans.

4. More Americans by six percent are living pay check to pay check in 24 compared to 23. No end in sight there.

78 percent of Americans are living paycheck to paycheck.

Don't worry. Just tell all those who are struggling that the GDP print was decent last month. They'll be fine. And NVIDIA is up 10x the last few years. They should quit complaining about their own situation.

1) What's Trump's plan to address this? Tariffs?

2) What's Trump's plan for high credit card debt?

3) See 1 above.

4) It's unfortunate that so many people in this country live paycheck to paycheck. What's Trump's plan for the middle and lower classes? Tariffs?

Even if you Blame everything on Biden and Harris, this is a very different economy from the one he took over in 2016. What's the plan? Tariffs and deportations?

They were in charge of it. You asked for proof. Well. There is your proof. Your numbers are meaningless. Because it has done nothing for the public. After the ridiculous response by Biden/harris for this hurricane North Carolina may never vote democrat again. In an all seriousness. I drove all over waycross. Didn’t see one federal vehicle. Very little help being offered. I could have missed it but my folks didn’t see any either. And people wonder why rural areas hate Harris and Biden. They couldn’t care less.

Apologies, if I missed this (heating non-silicates to a melting point is hard...sorry) and I've never claimed to be a smart man:

1) What's Trump's plan to address this? Tariffs?

What exactly is the Harris plan, here?

2) What's Trump's plan for high credit card debt?

Is there a Harris plan for this? Or....anything?

3) See 1 above.

That's what she said! (Did I do that right? No? Sorry...)

4) It's unfortunate that so many people in this country live paycheck to paycheck. What's Trump's plan for the middle and lower classes? Tariffs?

Harris? I mean, if Trump is 'wrong' here, surely there is a Harris plan? Anything?

Even if you Blame everything on Biden and Harris, this is a very different economy from the one he took over in 2016. What's the plan? Tariffs and deportations?

Unicorn farts might be a start. At least it's more than the Harris campaign has provided.

If you can decipher anything from that word salad...please share.

Lava-Man should read the articles linked in a post and Lava-Man might not have so many questions.

Providing this link again because I like to help Lava-Man out.

Lava-Man might prefer a summary and may not like the plan, but can't say there isn't a plan.

Key Components of the Harris Housing Plan

1. New Housing Development
  • Goal: Create 3 million new housing units within four years to alleviate the housing supply crisis.
  • Collaboration: Work with local governments and private developers to facilitate construction and streamline permitting processes, particularly for multifamily units and affordable housing projects.
2. Tax Incentives for Homebuilders
  • Starter Homes: Introduce a first-ever tax incentive for builders who construct starter homes specifically for first-time buyers, complementing existing programs like the Neighborhood Homes Tax Credit.
  • Low-Income Housing Tax Credit (LIHTC): Expand the LIHTC to encourage more affordable housing development.
3. Down Payment Assistance
  • Support for First-Time Buyers: Provide up to $25,000 in down payment assistance for first-time homebuyers who have consistently paid their rent on time for two years. This initiative aims to assist over 4 million individuals in achieving homeownership
4. Regulation of Corporate Landlords
  • Prevent Price Fixing: Implement measures to regulate corporate landlords and prevent them from inflating prices through bulk purchases of homes. This includes supporting legislation like the “Stop Predatory Investing Act” which seeks to eliminate tax benefits for large investors acquiring single-family rental homes.
5. Economic Stability and Wealth Building
  • Focus on Underserved Communities: The plan emphasizes creating opportunities for historically excluded communities, aiming to bridge gaps in homeownership and wealth accumulation, particularly among minority groups.
6. Innovation Fund
  • Propose a $40 billion innovation fund to support local solutions for housing supply issues and encourage innovative construction financing methods.
And yes, Harris does have an economic plan. Lava-Man needs to watch less Fox News and read more.
