Collage football market Black Friday event.....

I suspect that we are close to a collapse of college football as we know it. Listening to Saban, Kirby and others it is clear that the current path is not sustainable but the proposed solutions are not even possible. Getting federal legislation is a joke. Looking at FSU and the portal and the UNLV holdout portend of huge problems down the road. Think whole team strikes unless more NIL money. Big donors are not idiots and they can withhold their money at the drop of a hat. The promise of going to UGA and getting developed for the NFL insulates us a bit but when they start poaching your players and you don't have as many drafted players, that diminishes.

Warning signs are already here, FSU for the bowl game, UNLV mess and the Rashada suit v. Florida.

Thoughts on preparation.

Coaching wise: I think the offense had a better game plan than the defense. Everyone screaming for Bobo to be aggressive, we were right off the bat. Bobo isn't getting OPI calls against us, it was players, Bobo didn't drop a dime into hands thrown ball. Not his fault WRs were blanketed all night. Carson had nerves last night early on.

Defense missing tackled but blitzes n Milroe just making us look foolish on runs and then his WRs WFO in first half spitting them 28.

I want this team to get a mentality like eye black on Ryan Williams, stop playing around if you can beat a team by 70, do it.

Clear we need a dynamic QB and WRs, find money. It's a new game with NIL same rules for every team. Show them the money.

NonDawg Relief News: If in Blackshear/Waycross area….

First Baptist Blackshear is handing out meals to anyone that needs food. Not sure of the schedule but I know they have cooked enough every day since Friday to feed over 200+ every day. Check them out if you need a meal until power is restored. According to their FB page they are planning to cook everyday and handing out meals after 5:30pm.
Go Dawgs!!

Warning: sunshine pumping…… We had 5 turnovers against the best player in the country on the road at night…. and almost stole it back

Folks,

I think part of the reason we’ve struggled against Alabama (even after closing the talent gap)is because the SEC East has been down for so long. We weren’t battle tested against the elite with pressure.

We finally had a chance to play game of this magnitude where the results were not season ending. We are going to be much better down the road because of this game.

Storm shifted east and hammered the southeast part of the state.

On SSI we where not even close to it and no one has power in the Golden Isles. Never stayed for a storm with these type of winds. North/west of us got it alot worse. Saving grace for our area is that the trees here is we get hit every year with some wind and culls trees and limbs. .... And still it knocked out power for the whole area. Generator is running now.

The only 2 players that showed 2021-2022 championship team-like qualities last night

Dan Jackson and Jalon Walker

Both gave 110%, were knocking TF outta Bama every chance they got. Those 2 were the only ones playing with the passion I saw those 2 championship teams playing with. Carson is WAY too timid.

There was no "fire" from the team last night. Where has the passion gone outside of Dan and Jalon? It's like our players are playing just because they have too.
